- With GCSEs and A-Levels in only a few weeks time, I thought I’d share with you what to do after school to make sure you get as much revision done in as little time as possible!

Abdullah should you memorize the mark scheme for maths for future questions or not.Would it be a good idea?
I reccommend watching gcse maths tutor, you shouldnt really revise for maths but just practice by doing past papers.past papers are the way to go!
abdullah basc i fixed all my sciences to 9s and rs is a 9. The rest are like 7s/8s and im scared i wont do well in my exams have u got any tips? Ive got my first exam on the 9th
trust me if you’re at 7/8s already then you’re probably gonna end up getting 9s cos everyone usually gets 1 grade higher than they’re predicted

Love your videos, they’ve helped me sm. was wondering if I could ask a quick question though
I’ve made too many notes to be honest. I did them in flashcards form on Anki and while a lot of them are genuine flashcards, some of them are just bullet points of notes in flashcards form A lot of them are kinda useless but thats not really a huge problem now as I made them in the past and there’s nothing I can do about it.
I made about 1000 per sciences (including computing) and about 500 for the English’s and 500 for history. The point is. I have way too many to review in 13 days. I think
What I’m doing at the moment is doing past papers but having my flashcards/notes up in-front of me. Like an open book test. However I haven’t done this for long enough to test if this is effective, and I don’t really have the time too now
What I wanna ask is, basically what do i do. I need to do past papers, I have all these notes sitting here. But I won’t be able to review them in 2 weeks (when my exams start). So what do I do
I think just make some sort of plan where you do flashcards in the morning (but have a time limit per subject) and then in the evening do exam questions and whatever you get wrong end the day off by doing flashcards for those topics

this is so helpful. personally i like to write notes. and i only have a few notes to make for various subjects right now, but yes its a good idea to not make notes and go for your past paper technique instead

Abdullah thanks for the tips. Honestly I'm at grade 6s and 7s right now but I'm really scared i won't do well. I keep telling myself that i can do it if i believe in myself but sometimes my brain fails to believe that. U have any tiny extra advice?

@@Al-Burcaawi im not lol im not saying don't revise at all but the summer is 3months long and you got a WHOLE YEAR before gcses, I got 6 grade 9s and 3 8s and one 6 in my last mocks, I'm predicted 9s in nearly everything
@@Yma0104 i get what ur saying but how long did u revise before that to get those predicted grades n also in my skl yh there's this thing where whatever i get in yr 10 mocks that sets if im doing higher maths and higher triple sciences for start of yr 11, so imma have to lock in now cuz im not tryna do foundation fn. @@zlatan.g5 well I revised for all of yr 11 and I moved from foundation maths into higher and combined into triple, I got full marks(nearly) and they let me take triple, im finding it pretty simple except for physics but if you wanna relax in yr 11 u should revise in yr 10

IVE DONE NO REVISION, WHAT SHOULD I START DOIMG? (my weakest subject is science i know nothing)
Focus on your weakest subjects, use quizlet and watch videos on these subjects. I’d recommend free science lessons and cognito as their videos are short but follow the specifications.
Practice past papers and go through the mark schemes and examiner reports to see what the examiners are looking for in your answers. I’d also focus on English and maths as you need to pass those. Hope this helps and good luck with your GCSE’s! :)
take 1 or 2 days to study from pmt summary notes for all 3 sciences then start grinding past paper questions and the questions you find hard memories from mark scheme how to answer good luck
@@sprawlsreadsking1631 could u send some videos i can watch? also, i have tried to make flashcards a few days ago using freesciencelessons but each paper takes around 2 hours +, so makin g flashcards overwhelmed me and i havent done it since. so i think i will stick to summary videos which are around 35 to an hour per video
@@paddy4419 fsl i tried to make flashcards and gave up cuz it was too long lol, maybe im just overstressing? maybe flashcards isnt agood idea at this stage. but ill try practice papers. how am i supposed to know the answers / what the question is talking about without any knowledge?

I didn’t memorise any of the poems word by word just the quotes I needed

When i come home from school which is around 4 i have no time to revise since i have to get ready for mosque. Then when i come home from mosque i say to myself that oh i want to do a practice question in maybe English cuz that's all i have time for but i never do it. It's there any way i can revise after school if i have so many stuff to do.
Try do some extra work in school (only now because you have exams coming up) and you could do work on the way to and back from school
I have a lesson in school called life skills where we just revise so I can just do it in there
Most people skip going mosque during gcses from what I’ve seen since every hour counts for your exams

I luckly found good tips before I start year 10 which i start in September since year 9 for science and math didn’t go well sadly so when I’m in year 10 hopefully I will move up sets before I start year 11 wish me luck 🍀

Hello Abdullah I love your videos Mashallah your amazing grades have motivated me a lot. I just have one question, do you do any extra curricular activities like you go to any football clubs, karate, etc? Because I have been told most unis for medicine are looking for people who go to clubs and stuff, and in your gcse results video you said you will be doing medicine, many thanks.
