Yeah, can't people just enjoy games anymore? it's weird everytime people play these type of quality gacha games they just have to compare it with other game and bashing it.
I got into Arknights earlier this year from the music - heard a track called Dormant Craving and wanted to see where it came from and if there was more like it. Blew my mind that it was a mobile gacha game, but figured I'd give it a try. It quickly became my favorite mobile game by a wide margin. It's not turn-based, but controls perfectly on a phone. It's legitimately challenging - you will fail even some of the training stages, and the hardest stuff can take hours to overcome - when you fail it's 99% of the time on you and not due to levels or stats not being farmed high enough. Character designs are phenomenal and there are over 300 operators at this point. After five years of constant development, there's easily 400+ hours of content here that isn't grinding. And the game has at least 60+ tracks that are absolute bangers covering nearly every genre imaginable, and often using authentic instruments from the regions the music styles come from. The only games that I think surpass it for lore and world-building are FFXIV and the Trails series, but those games also have had over a decade compared to this. The gacha system is the most F2P friendly I've seen in anything even remotely on this scale - they give you enough currency to get at least one copy of every limited character they release, there are no separate weapon banners, no need for getting duplicates, and skins are all purchasable with currency you can get in-game (skins cost ~20 of the premium currency, and you can get ~1250 of it by beating all the stages and challenges in the game right now). They did not have to go as hard as they did on any of this stuff, but I'm all for it. I recommend the game to pretty much anybody to at least try. It's not going to be for everybody, but I'd never seen it before and fell in love.
Something about the characters in English. Arknights like to have characters with EN Vas that have accents based on which country they live in. F.E. Not defensive or aggressive at all. Its just how to describe game feel. I understand though, people called Stellar Blade soulslike and I was like what? I guess you can use soulslike to describe game feel for hack and slash games but you can definitely turn it into an action game once you’ve mastered the mechanics. It’s just that for me open world rpg types have this same feel. There does seem to be some sort of trend in gachas. Punishing Gray Raven, Aether Gazer, and Honkai Impact 3 are very instance based close quarters up in your face type with a nice action camera and lots of movement vfx and exaggerated movements to the point where some people can’t even comprehend what’s going on in battle while these “Genshin” types usually have an open world with softer almost more stationary combat. (The character doesn’t have extreme lateral movements when attacking and running) There’s a very particular feel to the combat and locomotion and these games seem to feel very similar. Ever since Hi3 decided to branch off into a more “chill” and open world type with Genshin, many companies decided to follow in its success; thus PGR branching into WuWa. Nikke is supposedly working on an open world type as well and I bet it’s going to be similar. I prefer the PGR type combat but I’m still open to trying these open world types especially if they lean more into action and have better lateral movement. From what I’ve seen, Endfield doesn’t look as “soft” as Genshin and WuWa but it still has a similar feel. Plus I fell in love with Surtr I gotta try it haha

Every Arknights concept trailer for the past six years, going back to even before the original game released, has used a Starset song.
Can people just stop with this gEnShIN kiLLer bullshit? A game is trying to be its own thing and it's clearly shown in the demo, and ppl still had the audacity to label it as wHoa aNoTheR gENsHiN kILLer.
@@velvetra29 it’s kinda look like a Genshin-like game. So I just state what I saw as a dude who first time seeing it.
Arknights Endfield has been in work on progress for 4 years and gotta say THE DEVS COOKED they did not rush anything and the original Arknights played a really big role on the development of the game, hopefully they will improve better after the beta test, Also i remember one of the founders of Arknights a former Girls Frontline developer and i can see some resemblance on the animations.
Looking forward for the beta test!
THE BASE UPDATE IS REAL
@@Kofhiliphus yup it is😮💨
If this is as low standard as to be similar to genshin, then Elden ring is a Final Fantasy killer
@@cob-codeofbrawl7668 Elden Ting did. And it’s gonna be the new Final Fantasy VII. It’s gonna get squeeze so much game like the new game that coming out? Elden Ring Nightreign. And they gonna come out with a few more Elden Ring and then it will be the “Final Fantasy VII” or Elden Ring that people will eventually hates on it.🤣
The reason i love arknights is because of its deep lore and vast worldbuilding that attracts the players into the game and the option to play as p2w or f2p.
This is truly genshin killer heck better than genshin itself.
@@MCX_San I am looking forward to try the Beta once it come out!
Stop ragebaiting
It's not ragebaiting. it's clickbaiting. and it seems to have work somehow hmmm...
Another CC with genshin killer video and this game have different style and genre for different audience
Yup there is alot of Genshin killer games gonna pop out in 2025, We have NTR.. i mean NTE , we have Mugen, we have that game announce by Nexon in TGA.. i can't wait to react to more Genshin killer videos!
Everytime someone say genshin killer i just look at them like 😐 and not say a thing
@@darkpast2177 yup.that is the appropriate way to look at it.
Shame you had to change Starset song
@@YagamiMagatsuko Yeah it’s sad.. many don’t learn from “Shift up” and make trailer or games that are “Content Creator friendly”
Every song and bgm in Nikke and Stellar Blade. I never get copyright claim before.
And the Starset song was a Banger and I keep saying that during my react.👀
Every Arknights concept trailer for the past six years, going back to even before the original game released, has used a Starset song. Starset is so loved by the community that they even performed live as part of Arknights annual Ambience Synesthesia 2024 concert earlier this year.
Using them for Endfield the same way they did for the original is a nice touch for fans in the community. 99.9% of AK music doesn't hit copyright but these are an exception.
@@Reldan Yup the Starset song is really good. It’s the first time I heard it. Too bad I had to change it.
I hate the "genshin killer" or "compared game to another game" thing, hey we play game for fun, i play genshin, zzz, and wuwa and its all fun until you gacha, i will play this game to because it look fun.
Yup and many more Genshin killer games gonna comes in 2025 like we have NTE and Mugen and even Nexon new game that was announce in TGA. so i am looking forward to react to more Genshin killer games
I don't think it's wise to compare this with genshin, genshin fans and arknight fans is a mortal enemy with eachothers (ok it's more like genshin fans being toxic and hating on arknight and we just being smug and response with stuff like a fasion contest)
Genshin killer?
If Genshin going to be anything, it ain't gonna be Factorio clone instead of Walmart Zelda
Bro stop with the “Genshin killer” thing, you basically overhype the game and bring it reputation down if those tourist and genshin fan on twitter find this
Hahaha i don't think my video has that kind of power. i am just a humble small creator... Genshin fan will be like busy with thier daily quest.
Good video, but for good sake dont use the term GI killer or any killer at all, the last time it was thrown around ended in hell... Cough.... TOF....cough...

another genshin killer? lol
Maybe Genshin maybe Wuwa killer.
Any game that gets the term "-killer" monicker. Alway inevitably fails at killing said game.
WoW killer
CoD Killer
and with a body count of three; Genshin Killer
Thank you for guaranteeing this game will fail based on your perception of this being a Genshin Killer.
Wtf are you talking about, just because of a bait thumbnail text you can guarantee this will fail? One thing we arknights players/fendom themselves never labeled this as G killer, In fact, those who like to label G Killer as outside the fendom, even the Genshin fendom itself, and fyi arknights og itself has been running for almost 6 years, the reason is how big the Arknights fanbase is in China and even in Japan, so your assumption of guarantee might be wrong.
@@janematthews9087 To be honest I don’t even know about the game. It’s there is so many games out there. That is “Genshin-like” game. And I am gonna react to all of them man.

tired of the term "gacha game" being thrown around as revolutionary this, killer that, it's just a game, games should be made with passion and vision like how early valve was
@@ExiMaster it’s is just a game. The title is a UA-cam video title. It’s not that serious. Just like this is just a video game.. the title is just a title.😉
In defense of this game, the devs did say in an interview, in response to a question on if the base building was too much for the general playerbase, that they didnt really care about making it 'popular' they want to make a game that they want to play.
Which is, in my opinion, a great Game Dev philosophy.
