55th Round Square Conference - highlight video

Brookhouse school attended and hosted the 55th Annual Round Square International Conference 2023 at Brookhouse Schools in both Karen and Runda from 8th - 14th October 2023. The immersive and succesful conference hosted about 1200 delegates from 160 schools with the theme of the conference being 'The New Africa'.
Students were engaged in different activities based mainly on three Round Square pillars (Adventure, Service and Democracy). On Adventure day they had an opportunity to camp at the Nairobi National Park, Service day involved renovation of classrooms, painting, building of gabions and planting trees with the local partner schools. Democracy day had panelists and keynote speakers who engaged students in discussions on different topics related to the conference theme.
