A holiday in the Peak District in 1941. A family camping trip on a farm outside Ilam, Derbyshire, having fun, playing golf, cooking with the cows and watching planes overhead, including a Hurricane. Filmed by Fred Pedley using 16mm cine film.

Just love these home movies of the countryside back in the day. Glad you saved it to modern video before the film degrades totally from age. Being it's 1941 time line, I'm thinking they are escaping the London Blitz air raids by camping in someone's cow pasture out in the countryside.

3:50 looks like a Hurricane. Cow at the end is very curious.
