Hello, Thank you for informative content. i have one question it might be irrevelent but would appreciate if could help out. Would you let me know the procedure to move existing ISCSI Target storage from existing server to new server.
Nice catch ... In our live environment we have to take care of the storage failover as well. In this video, however, I was concerned about configuring high availability of the Hyper V VMs only so, I skipped the storage HA. I would certainly make a separate video on storage soon. Thanks for your deep involvement with us. Stay tuned and keep suggesting us..
@@TechAreaNetwork What I'm in the process of doing @ work is setup an iSCSI storage (a refurbished HP p2000 Storageworks) and setup a failovercluster using the HP storageworks as shared storage between the 2 hyper-V standalone servers. I was wondering how others went about doing this so I stumbled on your video. I've got the Storage working using a multipath connection. That already works! Quorum & CSV volumes are up & running Next step tomorrow will be setting up a workgroup cluster since all our actual servers will be running virtually. I'll have to use quick migration beause we don't have an ADDC to allow the hyper-v servers be a part of domain.... Downsides & upsides to anything I suppose... Keep up the good material. cheerz
The concepts, Multi-path I/O; Workgroup Clustering etc, you have introduced at your network are really nice. As per your schedule, have you deployed the clustering successfully? I really want to know your experience in this regard.

how did you added two LAN card @24:45 ?
Don't you introduce a single point of failure in this setup? It seems like if your iSCSI storage server crashes or dies, your whole network is down
