This is lovely. What a journey you’re on. I recall seeing you several years ago at Mississippi Studios in PDX. I had heard Bumper in the Hail a few weeks prior on the radio and had to see you live. And, magically, you came! We talked a bit after the show - mostly me asking you about the stories behind the songs. And now so many years later you do this. It’s as if I’ve discovered you all over again, and I’m just as happy. June can’t come too soon.
This so beautifully relates to my boyfriend and my story and I fall in love with him and this song all over again when I listen to it. Thank you for putting a feeling I couldn’t express into words
Having listened about 25 times now (on repeat on all devices), I believe this is up there with CMA's finest songs. I love the spare instrumentation, and the vocal is peerless, beautiful and 100% true. For me, it's on a par with songs like 500 Nights and Song for Amy Ross. Also, whoever it was that clicked Dislike should be removed from the internet until they learn to behave.
I heard this on NPR's Fresh Air coming back from the first post quarantine night in my state and immediately fell head over heels for this sound. I can't wait to see her in concert and pick up some actual merchandise.

I'm sorry you aren't doing any Scottish dates on the upcoming tour. I have travelled to London in the past but can't make the London or Birmingham dates. This is beautiful btw.
