Beautiful singing, gorgeous setting. We build monuments in stone, because then history can be remembered, and retold -- the good, the bad, the ugly, the beautiful. Music and stories are beautiful, and transitory. Monuments of stone which can be visited insure the story is told, and retold. Society needs all avenues of artistic and historic expression. Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
