Don’t get how dev1ce was robbed in 2018. S1mple arguably had the best individual peak ever in CS:GO that year. I remember watching him winning mvp that year vs Mouz at Starseries when Navi lost to them in the finals, never seen something like that before he was on another level that year.
See my biggest thing is that he doesn’t really seem like the ‘old’ s1mple to me. I went to mlg Columbus and watched him play on liquid live and back in those there was ‘something’ about him as though he was hungry as he hadn’t proven him self yet and wanted to show what his potential really was. Now those days he was a completely different player with a completely different mindset. He would just try to open up a site and let his raw skill attempt to beat the enemy team. Now it’s almost as if he’s reached the highest possible level of skill possible in cs (multiple hltv #1, major winner, ‘cs goat’) and he’s just lost the ‘hunger’ he used to have back in the day. I don’t know man as a S1mple dick rider since 2016 it really just isn’t the same watching him anymore, NOT THAT ITS NOT ENJOYABLE, it just doesn’t have the same ‘thing’ about it.
about device being robbed in 2018 lol there is no way device was the best player he was just on the best team if you look at how good the players were you could argue that niko was better then device in 2018 but just for team achievements you maybe shouldnt go that far but the argument is there
definitely, dude looks like he is having the time of his life whenever he is playing, can't help but feel happy for him after all he's went through in the past 2 years
tf you mean device was robbed in 2018? s1mple using LAN + against top 20 teams filters in 2018: 1.33 rating and 1.40 impact, device - 1.24 rating and 1.30 impact. end of discussion
@@brewsive If two players are competing for #1 spot, you would not expect anything other than marginal differences to decide the #1. And 0.09 is by no means a marginal difference. It is a huge difference at the highest level. For example: 2015 - #1 Olof (1.14), #2 Guardian (1.14) 2016 - #1 Coldzera (1.15), #2 Fallen (1.12) 2017 - #1 Coldzera (1.24), #2 Niko (1.23) It wasn't until 2018 that we saw a huge difference between #1 and #2, showing how dominant s1mple was in that year, given that dev1ce's team winning almost everything.
Even pros like to play "brain off" CS sometimes. 😊
🤨
Facts, they’re just pugging lol
sadly, their "brain off" CS is better than 99% of us :( we just gotta keep grinding

Wouldn't even say "arguably" in that case, 2018 s1mple was on such a different fucking level from anyone else in the history of CS.
wasn't he literally the best entry AND best clutch player in 2018
I love this kind of videos 💖💖💖❤️❤️

difference 0.09 and 0.10 over the course of 12 months is a very, very marginal difference. Well done stud you almost taught yourself how to use hltv.
