amazing arrangement! i gotta get this dvd. in this performance you still hear their trademark vocal sound... full, harmonious and powerful! i just WISH someone would put out a "live" dvd of any concert from the '75 - '77 (That's the Way of the World - All 'n All) era. that would be THE SHIT!
Definitely one of the best live versions of this song Ive heard. The cadences of the horns are slightly different from the album version but the stand out more on this live version. EWF took up a lot of my music listening time growing up. Best big area band ever.

@kwandi1342 They are indeed legends, no doubt. They are also the best thing that ever happen to marching bands everywhere because a lot of the music they play came from Earth, Wind & Fire because of the sound, tonality and arrangements.

This has nothing to do with being a perfectionists, its just a cheap way to fill in the gaps of live playing which ruins the experience. Live is meant to be enjoyed live, not with overdubs and DAT recordings playing in the background. This reason has been one of the biggest reasons hardcore fans can't accept anything past 1980.
