Glad you're in Puerto Vallarta, they had some drug gunplay in Cancun yesterday. This property looks great. I don't mind the outer exterior look either, I love the staired waterfall! I love the nature vibe of a place too, wind, water, wood and sun! You've put this place on my to do list!
It was such a solid stay. And yeah, Mexico, even the main tourist cities such as Cancun and PV, are not without issues. I don't recommend Leaving the property unless one is competent and confident in doing so.
The Sonora grill is fantastic!!
Might be better than Harry's in cancun, which I hold in the highest esteem .

I stayed there 20 years ago ! I only went to PV because my friend from Minnesota uncle was the GM for this Westin , curious if he still is the GM there his name is Mark from Minnesota!?! But blown away by this hotel and PV ! Beach not so much but the resort pool made up for it .
Suggestion have you thought about reviewing the islands of Bahamas .. I've become obsessed w all of them .

Much as I love both beef and cheese, adding that cheese, especially to the steak and bone marrow dish, would take away from the other flavors for me. Glad you enjoyed your dinner, it did look delicious.
The beaches there was be terribly disappointing, if you prefer the zero beaches (but 10,000+ lakes!) in Minnesota. 😁

One interesting side note about the beaches along Banderas bay…..the sand seems to get softer and whiter the further north you go.

@@Coolist Correction …I was mistaken….sorry about that . The places we checked out were the opposite. Punta Mita, which is pretty much the furthest north on Banderas Bay, has sugary soft sand and Yelapa, which is south of Puerto Vallarta, has sand more like rock salt…..I’ll blame the confusion on the tequila…😛

Compared to Riviera Maya, The beach was terrible - most PV beaches are.
@@Coolist The one at Catalonia I thought was pretty good if it’s not infested w seaweed. Once you’ve found a place you enjoy it’s a lot of work researching trying to find something different.

This is awesome content! I really enjoy how you highlighted all the dining options. In your past video, you were looking for feedback on how to make your channel really reverberate with an audience. I noticed that a lot of the videos, you seem to be vacationing alone. This might be a cool angle to approach your content with? "Travelling single in Puerto Vallarta, Fun Things To Enjoy" etc. I noticed that a lot of people who travel alone get really great comments when they have amazing interactions with the locals (Bald And Bankrupt, Kurt Caz, Ace Live). This might inject a bit more local personality to the places that you're visiting. Also, you provide such great content and points of view, but your audio is all over the place, level wise. There are a few great plugins that you can utilize to keep your levels at a strong, but even tone when you're editing your video. Other than that, keep creating! Love the channel.

Great review! I would go to PV far more, if it were not for their less than stellar beaches.

Curious about the beach...generally, is it that the sand is dirty, or just not fine, soft and white? Also, how warm is the ocean, once you go in? I remember it being fresh.

Just went to the Sonora Grill in Cancun. Loved it! We’ll be there in PV in March 2022. 🌺
I usually go to Harry's in Cancun but next time I'm definitely going to try that Sonora grill location.
I really prefer this series. You go to Vegas, you pretty know what to expect. Over the top, over stimulation, over spending 😉 Mexico however is so chill, so budget, and so beautiful.
There is absolutely life and vacationing outside of Vegas - this trip has been a lot of fun!
