I can tell the Filipino people have such respect for this genre, and they do it so well 👏🏻🇯🇲 Thanks for your support guys! Leave any other requests you have below! 💜
I almost feel bad you couldn't understand the lyrics of the last song because that song is pretty heavy on how the world is, its issues and how we treat each other.
Reggae is big here in the Philippines. We are Asian Islanders after all. I'm primarily into ska which is why I love reggae also. Blakdyak and Tropical Depression are two of my favorite local artists. Sadly both singers died (lead singer of TP Papadom). Thankfully, the newer generation is keeping the genre alive, despite it not being commercially popular.
Filipino tend to sing every genre that comes out. Anytime, anywhere, any moment. Fascinating how their country is full of music....... I wonder how it's like walking along a karaoke vicinity in there. Must be magical.
That last song with the man on the red shirt is a very beatiful song. It talks to people with any of the 3 handicaps: 1.) If you're blind, your world may be dark, but you never get to sin because of your eyes. 2.) If you're born without speech, you are divine compared to all. 3.) If you're deaf, you are lucky. The world is so noisy, but to you, there's no sound of grievance or turmoil. And then it speaks to all 3 of them: "The real world is not really far from what you know. Many of us live like you... cannot see, cannot hear, sometimes stutter... as we navigate the path to the holiness we long for. ... oh wow! That last part kinda rhymes!... or not.
mr. sam i've been here since your sb19 reactions until now i tell you we filipinos really love music name any genres name it we love it all ☺️☺️☺️ thank you for this reactions mr.sam 💙💙

the song sang by the last guy with the red shirt named VAL is called "bulag pipi at bingi" translates as "blind, mute, and deaf" is a meaningful song dedicated to our brothers and sisters with disabilities.its for them to let them know that they are also important in this world and they are not left behind despite the cruelty of this world that they are facing, they are still like us as human with importance and with dignity❤✌️🇵🇭👊

While others echo the old, we create something new, Our rhythm’s fresh, our vibe’s true. Feeling the beat, we put reggae on display, A soulful energy that’s here to stay. No need for questions, no need to compare, We own the stage with style and flair. Let the world try, but they’ll never see, Reggae’s true heart beats in our energy, 'Cause us Filipinos? We’re reggae’s favorite, no debate, You can try, but you’ll never replicate😊"
