This really is a beautiful radio.
Its built very well.I really like the Vietnam builds.They did a great job on the board and the faceplate switching and lighting!!
I set the Mosfet IRF 520 gate voltage at 2.5v for reliability so it should last a very long time even if SWR is not perfect!

My scope gave up its ghost last week something in the HV power supply for CRT so I ordered a new one and it wont arrive until Nov. 5th so I cant tune any radios until after then.

She’s a beauty! I’ve seen inside one of those and that smt looks very clean. I bet it’s reliable and clean no harmonics from the through pin components. I might have to get me one for the big truck. I’m usually a Cobra 29 guy but this one might make me trade up. Stay shiny bro. Catch you on the flip flop. I’m gone.
