well tbf, something they both miss here is they're not just out for revenge, they have an honest and moral goal to save michael, who is not only someone tubbo cares about but also an innocent child caught up in their conflicts

And there's no chance Sam will escape his own half-destroyed prison which he knows everything about and which he was suspiciously comfortable with being imprisoned in to be able to get revenge, even if he has outside help, so there's absolutely no way this cycle of vengeance continues!
Sam was only like that because he thought they would be trapped or at least barely get out of prison. He also knew that the key card resets on midnight ingame meaning no one should have control of the prison.
I wonder why they didn't kill him immediatly after they saw Sam being chill about living in his own prison for eternity. That's so obvious that he will just leave with no problem at all on the next stream session, causing the Revenger team to chase him for eternity

@@xdalion7398 Yep, dumb move on their part. But hey, c!Sam being alive means a potential redemption arc for a character who ultimately means well, even if his perception of right and wrong has become corrupted.
