looks amazing, but a normal ttx gp shock? 🤔
No floating rear disc, OEM spec connectors on the fuel line, gearbox doesn't have neutral at the bottom with the lockout lever and you have to ask them to tune the cylinder head!! (lol) The swingarm/tank/seat are correct sbk parts and some of the GYTR kit parts are nice but this is NOT a world superbike.
@@vimtodemon Brembo T-Drive rotors are full floating rotors and they're the rotors used in WSBK.
@@BTrain-is8ch Perhaps, but my comment referenced the rear disc! All top level race bikes use floating rear discs, this bike does not have a floating rear disc.

2008 r1 - rn19 is still the best looking
The only reason I’d never buy the 09-14 because the cockpit looks wayyyy too big
I had a new ‘08, incredible machine and a good looking bike with the last of the screamer motors although not as beautiful as the ‘22 World GP I now own imo. In addition to this the current model is better in every conceivable way, performance, the unique cross plane engine character, and tech from their MotoGP bike.

Meanwhile ducati and bmw have produced bikes with carbon frames, carbon subframes, blueprinted engines, carbon wheels the latest in ohlins technology with both bikes putting down between 220 and 240bhp. Yet again yamaha are late to the party and way behind on development. Yaaaawwn!! Every manufacturer has released an exciting bike new updates to engines and aero and tech and yamaha essentially have the same bike from 2015 😒 its just an r1m with some gytr parts and different livery

@@tylerfloyd8036 no. He’s right. At this price point, you can ask for the best. The fact that you would or wouldn’t be able to push the bike to its limits has nothing to do with the fact that a V4R or an M1000RR would be better bikes for cheaper.
@@fabiena1787 how would those bikes be better, a stock Yamaha already handles better than either of those bikes, the comment above was saying it was basically an R1M which is not even close, you think a Yamaha team would throw away an extra 130k for the same performance as an r1m 😂😂, the v4r is a descent machine but far from perfect as well, the bimmer I don’t feel is in the equation at all. Is this Yamaha overpriced? Yes! Do I still want it? Yes!
@@tylerfloyd8036 The V4R is 25 lbs lighter, better aerodynamics, better engine, better quick shifter, best engine braking, and has all of the latest safety electronics... Just stop fanboying buddy. I hate Ducati, but to say Yamaha's garbage is better than Ducati is a joke.
@@Waldo1122 The V4R is a street bike. The GYTR Pro R1 is a factory race bike. The V4R is not lighter. It does not have a better quick shifter. Its electronics are inferior to a custom Marelli system in literally every way possible. It's not a comparison. Can the portion of the population that doesn't have a contract with Yamaha ride either bike well enough to tease out the difference? Probably no. Is the GYTR bike at a far higher spec than a V4R? Yeah. By a lot.
