Sola Asedeko who played Awero's role in this movie really disappointed me after taking my time to check her biography. She actually has a father who is a Reverend Doctor, which l believe the parents should have taught her what christian marriage is all about. I got to know through her biography that Sola Asedeko gave birth to a baby boy in real life whose father's identity is undisclosed. Meaning the marriage was not formally conducted according to her biography. What a shame and disappointment! I expected the soundtrack of that beautiful song composed by Beautiful Nubia which forms the bedrock of this movie to inform Sola Asedeko's decision before going into marriage that is dishonourable to christian faith 7:09 . Part of the lyrics says "... Ade ori Oko ni won, obirin to gbo eko to mu lo, iwuri Obi ni won o ma je, l'odede okunrin..." Meaning ...They are their husbands' crown and source of joy and pride to their parents, ladies that adhere to moral values and practise them. When I watched Awero's father weep in this movie, my mind went to Sola Asedeko's biological parents, what could possibly be their thoughts on how Sola delivered a baby boy without a formal marriage between her and the undisclosed man.
The question to ask., is Sola Asedeko not pretty and beautiful enough to have a formal marriage with a husband she can be so proud of to declare his identity to the public? Does it mean she deliberately refused christian way of getting married instead of being impregnated by an unidentified man? She actually allowed the negative part of what happened between her and Dauda in the movie come to fulfilment in her real life. What would be the testimony of her parents, Rev. (Dr.) Charles and Esther Asedeko on the story surrounding the marriage of their pretty daughter? Chai, I felt as if Sola Asedeko was my younger sister. Although there are two groups of parentage to consider in child training, The "Abikos" the untrained and the "Akogbas" the deliquents. I wouldn't know which of the groups Sola Asedeko falls in between. But i think if Beautiful Nubia soundtrack in this movie cannot instill morals in Sola Asedeko, l think her christian background should guide and have a positive influence on her choice of marriage partner.

Not everyone practices what they preach., I feel sorry for sola if all what you said here actually happened to her in reality truly., then her parent will have to take part of the blame…

@@azeezadenike7803 Birds of a feather. Probably you have a similar experience to that of Sola Asedeko.

hmm... you're right because what she acted in a movie should be applied in her life by her BUT you didn't need to wash her dirty pant outside as you've done (if your report is true). Why?
      1. Because you and I didn't know how she came about the pregnant except your report was directly from her, her parents or anyone of her close relation.
      2. Because Jesus dislikes public condemnation on an individual like you did. This is different from when you preach openly to people in which individual will pick where the preaching penetrate into their lifestyles. This is what Jesus did during His ministry. He didn't condemn individual instead He preached to crowd together and when He preached to an individual, He did it in love e.g the woman caught in adultery (John 8:3-11)
      3. Because of the trauma that Sola Asedeko might be facing now. Imagine a woman whose star started shining and suddenly stopped to the point that she is not acting again, not even showing herself on any social media. That alone should tell you that she really needs words of encouragement to get back to herself.
      4. You are a parent. hmm... a parent must be very careful on how he/she criticizes other people's children because no one knows what one's children will do tomorrow. May God not allow Satan to influence our children in Jesus' name.
"Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand." (Romans 14:4)

Did Beautiful Nubia make the soundtrack with this story in mind?
