Thank you so much for this discussion about the Holy Ghost. It has helped me better understand an experience I had many years ago, after the missionaries presented the discussion about Joseph Smith's experience in the sacred grove, seeing God the father and Jesus Christ. To my surprise I loved what I was hearing and it made perfect sense in my mind. Later that night, I was praying to know if what I had heard was true, and I had the experience of hearing/sensing a voice that said, "You already know it is true." That was all I needed to hear. I can now see that they were all working together, but it was the power of the Holy Ghost, not only testifying to the truth, but flooding my spirit with that truth. It has been a rock for me to lean on in challenging times. Thank you again for this amazing discussion.
I loved learning more about the Holy Ghost and the power of the Holy Ghost. I feel the power of the Holy Ghost everyday. The Holy Ghost gives us the words of Christ and it us through the Holy Ghost that we can know the truth of ALL things. I bear witness that this is true.
What a beautiful and powerful discussion. I learned so much. I hadn’t realized how little I knew about the Holy Ghost until this discussion. I now have another thing to add to my studies, and am grateful to have learned what a great resource we have in James E. Talmage’s book, The Articles of Faith. I’ve moved it up to the top of my “read next” list of books!
I had a very powerful confirmation while you spoke of the Holy Ghost's ability to utilize known and unknown elements throughout the universe, in the course of carrying out the will of Father and Son. I have known the Holy Ghost as a personal friend and important help. Suddenly, my heart and eyes were opened to the influence and magnitide He operates as directed by Jesus Christ. An indescribable awareness covered me and I am humbled. I have underestimated His scope. Perhaps have been too casual in that relationship. My wonder and respect have truly been informed in a deepened and critical manner. I have to listen to this lesson several more times. Thank you.
This year started with a tragic event in our family. While I wish that had not happened, I have come to learn and love so much more about the Holy Ghost than I could ever have imagined. The Holy Ghost is what got me through those hard days, giving me the right words to say, giving me courage, physical strength, tolerance, reassurance, clarity of mind, direction and peace. The peace from the Holy Ghost and the presence of those from the other side of the veil is what I clung to the most. That was an amazing feeling that I felt would end as time moved on so I determined to keep that with me for as long as I could. I have learned that is doable but not easy. The Holy Ghost is always there but it takes me inviting the spirit to have the spirit and it takes a concentrated effort every day in choosing my words and actions. It is hard work, but the rewards are amazing! I have continued to feel peace, to hear and feel the spirit, to have answers to prayers, to feel joy amidst the sorrow, added patience, unexpected activities that filled what would have been a few lonely hours, my list could go on and on. And to top it off, the blessing of being in the Book of Mormon this year. I love the Book of Mormon and I am so grateful for Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Ghost. Thank you for the discussion on the Holy Ghost, it helped me understand so much more about his great power.
I had the thought as Andy was speaking in the introduction that we sometimes feel discouraged when we don't see immediate fruits of our missionary efforts. Yet Moroni (with his father Mormon) was probably the most influential missionary ever to live, and never saw the fruits of any of his work until 1400 years later! Thank you for your testimonies, I always love the episodes you have with Andy.

I too think we are usually underestimating the importance of the Holy Ghost. This is a topic to which we should pay much more attention!
