Got myself the GN Aion in the 909 grade, what a bat, it's shape is really perfect, pick-up is light with a really good full profile where you hit the ball.
GM made a few good 555 lengths in the past years, but each shape had maybe 1 downfall,
Noir was good, but not allot of power, I had 2 and that was my main issue with them.
Brava was better but the weight was far too heavy on the bottom end, you had to get a pick-up index 1 to have it balanced.
Chroma and Hypa had great pick-up but no power down low, because the wood was all in the middle, I do understand that it's how you choose the ideal bat for yourself, however being tall I could only go for the 555 options.
I think GM should have more 555 options and less 540 options, I would even go so far to say make the Diamond in a 555 option and see them fly off the shelves, and please make your handles medium thickness, allot of short people have small hands and they complain the GM handles are too thick.
Anyways, GM you made really a good bat with the Aion, Im ordering another one soon

Are there any cricket shoe companies doing 'barefoot zero drop' shoes.
I literally cant fit into any shoes anymore and I'm not going to buy any cricket specific shoes until they do make them.
currently i buy Topo st-4 and spike them my self.
i'd love a company to come out and make some cricket shoes - that actually fit. The coffin shape shoe does not work for me - and injures athletes.
Get a cobbler to convert a pair into spikes, there’s no way anyone could bowl fast in barefoot shoes tho, spin and batting you’d be fine
