Hey, i have a question, i wanted to write "Times of change" in arabic, and some arabic guy share me this, أوقات التّغْيِر, is right? because that type of lyrics i donde see on any place, but he tell me is better that than this أوقات التغيير
firstly it is أوقات التَّغَيُّر not أوقات التّغْيِر and it can mean أوقات التغيير too ..
and this is the direct literal translation
@@amiryahyaoui Thanks so much for the explanation. I already have the tattoo with أوقات التّغْيِر, coz thats told me the guy, i hope It is understable too xd
@@Tedec96 i am against tattoos anyway haha ..
as for the meaning anyone who understands arabic will understand it but if you will meet someone who is looking to mock you he might do so 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@amiryahyaoui Well, ill say thats my personal brand xD
@@Tedec96 🤣🤣🤣🤣 indeed it is

What dialect of Arabic is this?
Modern Standard Arabic, (MSA)
@@ImranAlawiye-gatewaytoarabic if it’s standard would anyone from north africa or middle east understand me speaking it?
@@GoingToAFuneral Yes. Everyone that speaks Arabic knows (but may not speak on a daily basis) Modern Standard Arabic along with their countries’ dialect, it’s the normal that is used in the Quran and what’s taught in schools. The majority of people speak slang Arabic in the streets. The dialects used around the Arab community are really just an informal accent to MSA, and can be understood by any other native civilian.
@@pungentsauce2324 oh okay, are there any tutorials for informal arabic?
@@GoingToAFuneral Well it’s not what you’d want to learn as a beginner, although there are tutorials. Informal Arabic is really just slang Arabic and is the kind of thing that you learn in the streets and neighborhood once you’ve mastered fluency. It’s something where you gain experience and learn from hanging around with your mates and stuff, you wouldn’t normally ask someone to teach you informal Arabic. MSA and slang Arabic are very different in terms of vocabulary, more than you’d believe. Some words are similar and others are just completely different. Just stick to MSA as that’s where all of the Arabian dialects are derived.
