There is also several concept /story films that has the story narrated in English (by AleXa no less). Especially the concept film is more like a Netflix trailer. To put it shortly they were cursed by a vengeful god and basically turned into vampires. Thus all the blood in this MV.
"This concept feels really familiar" maybe because of VIXX? If you know vixx, then this will seem familiar, cuz they used this concept before ^^ oneus also said they look upto them and take inspiration from them. As a vixx fan im so proud of oneus and love them a lot.
You should check out their Valkyrie MV too. This is a follow on to the come back home song from RTK. they set it up as monarchs with powers fighting to protect the people but they anger Helios and with their souls sealed inside the necklace the greatest torture Helios could come up with was their only escape would be to drink the blood of the descendants of the child they saved. He then cursed them to a dream life tortured by their inner demons. They are singing literally I wish I didn’t know you cause I have to drink 🍷 your blood to live and fight back. At the end they are lured into a trap and yet they are able to get the necklace and regain the power of their souls but now they are seemingly faced at the end with the ‘doors to hell’ open and monsters awaiting or pushing through from the other side as they walk towards it. Possibly suggesting their next battle. There is a couple ‘concept film’ mvs that were released before this MV and I highly recommend watching come back home concept teaser, then come back home MV, the concept film for to be or not to be then this MV again as it will give you a huge concept storyline and link it altogether. They have been hinting at gods and vampires or supernaturals in each of their mvs with wings in Valkyrie and light a large part of it. Twilight as well had eyes coloured strangely and a supernatural hint, this is seemingly the first deep dive and we also see the upgrade in dance theatrical styling that I think they really were encouraged by The BOYZ to develop more.
This was the 2nd song I listened and liked from them the first one was No Diggity, Seungwoo( VICTON) is next glad it was recommended that song is fire!!! It feels familiar because VIXX used this concept before and VIXX are known as Dark Concept KINGS.
