I gotta say, while i enjoy the more tech oriented modpacks occasionally, nothing beats the freedom of adventure and exploration that these types of packs can give.
I totally agree I wish there was a server for this pack but I’m sure it’s so resource crazy
Its not very laggy for me and i only have 1080 ti
I only wish op loot wasnt this common, but if its this common, then the game should be almost 5 times as hard
Small tip if you’re beginning with ars nouveau: craft a crystallizer, it will passively generate source gems. Btw i absolutely love this mod, it is simple, yet very complete.
I have such high hopes for a keep, surrounded by a walled city and outside of that a surrounding town.
Different internal districts like trade, academia, military, and royalty, in addition to housing of common folk.
I'd love to see you as the guardian/court mage and use the settlement mods to make a king and citizens.

elytra flight within the first 3 episodes is crazy! i love exploration packs simply because they can be so surprising with their loot
For some reason the intro gives me dark crystal vibes. Absolutely love it. Makes me feel a certain kinda way that I just can't describe.
Apparently Chosen decided to fight dungeons and a dragon, found some netherite armor, and decided to fight these things in some weak wizard armor lol.
14:00 I loved, loved, loooooved that you used summoning magic to fight against the fire dragon, that's my favorite type of magic and it's so underrated
For the light spell replacing touch with projectile will allow you to place the lights from a distance or anywhere just slightly out of reach.
dont forget replacing touch with self gives nightvision or at least did last time i played with the mod
Enchanted forest is bring back memories of valhelsia
I like the little lights on all the blocks on the ground. Seems like it would be super helpful, especially if you die and can't find everything you lost
They have chests in the satyr tents under the carpets. They have the panflutes, and you can play music on them.
This series is just completely making me want to (if I could get the motivation back to record at least semi-regularly, and figure out editing/get someone to edit for me) do a series where I start in this pack, but with the Tensura/That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime mod added, progress through, and eventually switch (using an nbt editor to carry over my character from this pack, or more specifically my Tensura stats and abilities) to a more modern/futuristic one but also with said mod added. Yeah, I'm a 'weeb', and yeah I have a thing for connections/lore between series like when you did the Better Minecraft series and then switched to Better Minecraft PLUS and threw in that bit about traveling through dimensions, or like the Yogscast and their convoluted meta-lore between all the Minecraft series they did (at least before Lewis stopped joining Minecraft series).
16:52 you can tame those guys with apples, they can help you fight mobs if you give them a weapon
Also Chosen, you might want to research a bit into the Feywild mod, there's a lot of useful stuff in that mod that can help you in this playthrough :)

This is what i love the most, adventuring in minecraft and mods. The tech episodes are okay but they can get boring
I'm glad to see you're playing with magic! I started the game as a Moth so I had to rush magic since I basically couldn't fight in the sunlight. It'll be fun to watch you progressing too!
Chosen could you go back to that dungeon and check of you can take the big Dungeon Doors? It would be cool if you can use those in a build!

yes glide is a taste of the high up effects from the mod (the glyph made from dragon breath is REALLY nice especially if u can get a single bottle of it before its time for the end.)
if u can get a scribes table u can use a second spell book as a backup of your current unlocked Ars glyphs that can be left at home for the cases of u having an untimely demise at the hands of something.

21:28 there is a lot more insane loot In the top small circular buildings. There is lots of diamonds and netherite Ingots and scrap. One of those circular buildings has a staircase up and a bridge to another small circular building. And that one is going to have a staircase down and at the very bottom jd going to be a chest with the insane loot.

Hey chosen those picks didn't have the light ability it was comparing them to your current one which could place lights
I was LOLing so hard. Netherite pickaxe of light. But its obv just a iron pick in the chest

I made a huge mistake when I started my playthrough of this and didn't realise it untill I got about 15+hours in...I picked the Moth race to start as, and the constant climbing walls thing made me give up...doors are a nightmare....
I found most of the origins disadvantages are just too much... It's not worth it at all
@@ChosenArchitect Honestly the Moth disadvantages are not that bad really compared to the advantages. Its just the wall climbing that is really bad, that being said it was really useful while I was exploring the surface since I could just climb a cliff or tree and fly from the top. Dungeons and just doors in general are really hard to navigate because of it though. I wonder if theres a way to change race ingame though, since I really don't want to waste all that exploring I did.
moth climbing is great and it is togglable by keybind so u can just turn off wall climb when its not convenient.
also the alternative food sources from moth are great when theres so many books and enchanted books around (so if a special creature drops a trash/poor quality enchant u can use it as ur next very nutrious snack. (wool is nice for that too , carpet works too its just a smaller snack though)
@@buckwheatcat216 I wasn't aware there was a keybind to turn it off. That makes everything alright then. The climbing is the only thing I had issue with.

Is the texture pack part of the modpack? like the one that gives the realistic water and stuff. And as far as magic goes i prefer mana and artifice
I found about a stack of nether scraps + 3 stacks of diamonds in that kind of pallace it's really OP
20:26 that structure has some diamond and netherite blocks on the very top of the building. its hidden inside the roof

if you want more health do constitution for health upgrade if you add 1 level to constitution your health by increase by one for example 20 lvl constitution = 20 hp, lvl 21 constitution = 21 hp
do you know what that mod is called? im playing the pack and cant figure out how to access it looked thru the controls and everything but nothing jumped out at me not sure if chosen added it or it was removed in an update
