I discovered you a few months back and it inspired me further to pick back up on my own Mega Man challenge runs (mostly focused around Zero, though). There is something slick about this game that I really like, and it's brutally difficult. I can't hate this game despite glaring faults. You however always make it look so easy, brilliant as always. Now I'm going to play X6 and it'll be painful yet pleasurable. X6 and I have that kind of relationship. P.s that way you collected the power ups in shield Sheldon's stage while avoiding those spikes was absolute genius. Keep up the amazing work.
The Zero series was very similar to this difficulty especially if you were trying to get an S-rank while collecting everything without taking damage or using the cyber elves as you be penalized for it. Or trying to get the boss's ex skill.

I would like to an X6 no damage unarmored buster only run, where it's the only weapon you can use. No parts either. Of course I'm aware X6 has exceptions, high max needs weapons for e.g. and the nightmare mother needs parts. But for the rest of the game it's be a fun challenge.

Man, watching this guy speedrun through the most difficult game in the series like its nothing with unarmored X is so enjoyable. He's so resourceful too.
Didn't think 100% with unarmored X was even remotely possible. And only got damaged when it was absolutely required too. It's almost like you made two impossible things possible at the same time. You are god.
Megaman X 5 and 6 have a lot of references to Megaman X and X2 (like Squid Adler and Launch Octopus being related, soundtrack of the water scenario similar, etc)
Just to inform everyone that never played Mega Man x6 before. The introduction boss all you need to do is just use the saber on that mini robot that send a signal to the big one. So just like four or five slashes you defeat that boss instead of just attacking the big robot.
Is it me or are the graphics a bit...shinier? I'm seeing a lot of afterglow effects in this video. Is it because of JP version of the game? Or was it edited in? Either way it looks very good.

I really needed this to figure out how to cheese some of those stupid impossible jumps. It really sucks that the best charge shot in the game (unless you cheat for Ultimate Armor) is with X's base form, with a wider hitbox than Falcon's and higher power than Blade's, so if you prefer to play as base X, the game brutally punishes you for it.
Btw it's not really bad most reviews gave it something like 7.0 out of 10 some even 8.5 out of 10 and even 3.5 out of 5. It's not bad by all means no but it's disappointing with the nightmare system not being clear completely on what it is ( except the Japanese version of course) and the reploid placement as well as the enemy placement. Some level design isn't bad but the enemies make it bad in alot of people's perspective.

I think it's a video edition, if you watch the gameplays of older games in this channel you will notice that
I see.. you can use the Ice special weapon to trigger the invulnerability shield like that. So, the damage at 54:02 is actually avoidable or not?
is not, to use the ice burst trick you also need hyper dash, and it is inside at 54:02 portal.

did you turn off the auto charge and rapid fire while using the buster plus? I have tried to use the blade armor but while the buster plus was equipped, the special weapon i use always at its full charge. thank you
