The demo that was there is impressive and has been improved quite well, the chase cam looks better than the first installment, there is still a lot of development but this demo left me impressed.
Let's pray for at least decent handling with controller. I bought Asseto Corsa years ago and I can't play it because it's so difficult for me with a controller.
I think they want to attract more players, and that might include decent controller support, but i imagine they would want to nail down the driving feel with a steering wheel and then controller support.
What's casual got to do with which camera view u use😂, there are top split guys that can race in chase cam. Think peeps are a bit confused about the actual meaning of casual.

Everyone saying Gran Turismo is RIP but it's finally more a competition thing. After GT has survived Project CARS, Forza Motorsport and Assetto Corsa (Competizione) its nice to see that a new upcoming simulator will make actual competition to Gran Turismo.

I can see everyone's video testing Evo. And it looks really good. But, I would love to know how much content is in the game to start with. Is career mode large? Is there some free roam. Is there racing through traffic? How many full tracks are there?

Game will include Free Roam, Traffic, Avatar Customization, early access test build will be they said at least 20 cars and at least 5 tracks, career mode is not exactly like the GT games and FM games, its more open ended, with encapsulating driver progression and immersion. Ofc more details on how this will be exactly in the final release are not known atm.

I prefer fewer, but very well-made cars in terms of the level of detail, sound and driving behavior than a huge number that are only half-heartedly made
@17trunX you have to understand that this sim will be a general purpose sim, it won't be as serious as iRacing because that would scare away casual users. And it won't be as relaxed as forza, just in between to capture both demographs while retaining the accurate driving physics
@youngyingyang if Kunos plays it right, you won't need ray tracing because it'll look just as good. Also ray tracing in most of the games is a gimmick, just eats up gpu memory and looks a tiny bit better which isn't worth it.
Looks like they got rid of the over-the-top bounciness of ACC. You can actually hit Kerbs and even hit other cars without everything flying to the moon.
Literally my only hope for this game is that my laptop can run it, it can run competitioso at 60 fps on medium to high graphics so i have pretty high hopes

But Kunos said that when they finally release the mod support, they will control which mods will be in Assetto Corsa EVO, so those crazy mods like the t-rex or tom the train will not make it. Kunos want to guarantee high quality mods like RSS and VRC, also they might inforce licenses onto the modders, so we might never get cra brands that aren't in Assetto Corsa EVO

I think its both good and bad that Kunos will control the mods, in one hand that makes all the modes high quality and filters out those junky mods with terrible physics, but again we might not get many of the cars we want, say something as rare as the singer dls, or the di tomaso p72
As for now, The game looks like AC1 with maxed out CSP graphics... Also hoping that modding will be as accessible as AC1.. I heard some bad news, Like not all mods will be allowed.
@iamcarl4591 its probably due to the camera movement, but in reality Assetto Corsa EVO is way more realistic in terms of physics compared to forza motorsport, FM is a simcade and it shows.

The car behaves too similarly to Forza Motorsport (after the physics update). I reckon AC Evo still has some development to do if they really want to dominate the physics simulation department.

It's a new meta for lazy devs: make good looking game, with supercasual gameplay and make money on microtransactions. So respect for the Devs here. I'm gonna buy this game just to support them.

1:11 no infontainement on the dashboard and digital hud between the rpm and speedo gauges? 😢 what a let down. Ac1 had those features that was part of the immersive in first person view. Even working fuel gauges, boost, timer, temperature etc. Thats just blank if the evolved game doesn't have it.

@Mr.Kumar1 respectfully, this is not Forza Motorsport, and i think it looks less washed out complex to the mess that is forza Motorsport that couldn't get the same graphics that it promised with their trailers. Assetto Corsa EVO gave us the trailer and its graphics are consistent with the gameplay

as someone who tried max graphics with the best ppfs, ace looks better and more consistent. also you dont have to tinker to get it to look this good
