    Great analysis and sensible thinking through the situation. Thanks for these talks, very very useful to help build context as to why things continue to get more and more difficult in Australia.
    Australia is a population Ponzi it seems, and I am sorry/sad that as a 2008 immigrant I have unknowingly added to the problem if only by a tiny bit.
    I love being here, I gratefully got the opportunity because of the highly sought after skills I brought with me. But it's sad/frustrating that policy makers continue to pile people in without enough housing supply to support such droves.
    Perhaps in time the new immigrants may decide their move was not what it seems and may move on. Who knows. ☘

    Generally the conclusion from articles like this is "It's not going to change any time soon!" So better get your slice of the ponzi pie and hold on / sell at the optimal time.
    I think Australia will be able to attract people in order to grow its population for many more years so it's all good.
