The app is called ag rate, you’ll find it in the forum, there are PCB’s in there with an additional arduino that monitors flow and adjusts a proportional valve based on the set flow rate, speed and active boom width. It’s been a fair project, but a lot of changes have been made on the spray rig end, and I moved over to UDP for the comms due to the distance out to the back of the spray trailer. The flow and proportional valve are Arag units similar to what you’re using for your sections. It’s also running 5 Arag sections which are now controlled by the rate board as well. One of the main reasons I went for the rate board was the relays I was using for the sections where dying after about 1000 acres, the relays for the rate board are meant to be high quality, so time will tell how long they last.

@@matthewoconnor164 Very nice. I'll check it out. Don't think our relays have failed yet, might be upto 2000ac and ok so far. Good to know they're a failure point though. Been a bit wet for spraying. Floods aren't too bad here, hope you're keeping dry enough

@@RonanRTW I think part of the relays failing was due to the type of solenoid I was using putting the full load through the relays, where these arag solenoids only seem to switch the control, so a lot less stress on the relays. Yea good to hear you guys aren’t under water, we are also out of any flood zones, but the amount of rain leading up to harvest is becoming a worry, we might be struggling to get on the paddocks with the machines. Where are you guys located?

@@matthewoconnor164 Oh yep, makes sense. Come to think of it they did start playing up, but came good after I changed to a separate usb power supply. Moving to UDP sounds like the go though. Just North of Corowa. Yourself? Yeah paddocks are wet, were too wet to spray for later weeds or spread fertiliser so luckily not expecting a big harvest or worried about getting downgraded.... I guess we're lucky we have a few sheep and normal jobs
