It good to see Shabani calm and relax. I notice when he's calm the other members of troop are relax. Shabani's negative or positive actions sets the tone of what kind of day the troop will have. Indeed that was a good and PEACEFUL day for them all.

I wish I had it in my power to close this gorilla attraction down and put this family in a sanctuary. Their pool is rarely filled, the enclosure is the smallest and most depressing I’ve ever seen and it’s cement and ancient. If people insist on caging wild animals, then you’d think they could give them the best they could possibly give. This is just really damn sad and I wish better for this amazing family.

As much as I enjoy watching these gorilla's and am thankful we have the opportunity to watch them, I feel bad that they are stuck in this terrible enclosure which is more like prison than anything else. I wish they were in a more spacious enclosure that more resembles a natural environment instead of all this concrete. It looks like they often get very bored.
I heard they are being moved to a better enclosure this year. I hope so.
Yeah I was just saying to myself the other day, why dont they have a better enclosure? Its not big enough for one and not enough trees, greens around.

Something I have noticed in a few vidoes, is that Shabani pulls out his own hair/fur. He has a bald bald spot on his arm. I have have seen him pull out some hair then chew on it. So is a sign of serious distress? Hunger? Any ideas?
I've watched several of these videos and all of the females and kids move off when the big male comes around. They don't want to mess with him at all.

12:00 you can tell Shabani wants to interact with Ai but is reluctant because he's afraid he'll inadvertently annoy or upset her as has happened in the past.
Conscious Robot he’s practically molesting her, and he knows it’s wrong! He does sexual things to her & im afraid he’s going to rape her, which would still hurt her and traumatize her, even though they are animals. I’m the wild she could get away from him, but here she’s trapped!
@@arizonasunflowers5226 That's ridiculous. None of the interactions between Shabani and Ai, or any of his family members, ever shown in these videos is out of the ordinary for Gorillas.

I WISH THEY'D PUT ROPES OR PULLEYS ALL ALONG THE WALLS WHERE POSSIBLE, SO THEY COULD CLIMB THERE. INSIDE THEY DO HAVE A 3 FLOOR CLIMBING AREA WHICH IS GREAT. AND ALSO ANOTHER ROOM THAT IS NICE, INSIDE, BUT THE OUTSIDE COULD BE BIGGER & A BETTER POOL, & MUCH MORE TREE HABITAT--BIG TALL TREES, LOTS REAL NATURAL BIG LOGS FOR HIM TO PICK UP.
They look sad 😞 the baby is the only one who moves around because he’s just a baby and doesn’t know that this enclosure is too small for his family
This is one of the most horrendous enclosures I have ever seen! A tiny concrete jungle for one of the most beautiful animals of the jungle!! Shame on them!!
Why is there banging in the background like that? Surely it would make them angry. It would make me angry forced to listen to it everyday. Lol
