That big black box was Carolina Herrera bad boy le parfum and I picked it up at my local Ross like 3 weeks ago and the original price was 86$ but the box was damaged and I asked them to discount it and I ended up paying 59$ for a 5.7 oz !!!!!!!!!!!!! And love it

Yes, Guess makes cheap but good fragrances. I have 1981 Los Angeles, Indigo, and I got Seductive Noir a few days ago, and they're all fine. And for the price, great.

I share the same exact thoughts about Polo Black. This era is when Phat Farm, Dada and Sean John were losing their popularity, and the preppy Kanye style was taking over. When life wasn't quite so stressful, and pricing wasn't artificially inflated on everything. I've never smelt Double Black, but after getting my hands on Red Intense - I've decided the Mango note is worth the blind buy for me.
Got it today on clearance. $12 for 100ml. Is it great? No. But I really love those top notes and the sandalwood, and I've wasted much more than that on blind buys before.
Ross by me never has anything. @Burlington, the shelves are so full it's actually difficult to shop because you have to dig and move everything. My last few trips to Burlington has meant a 15-20 min queue. I was there Monday *mid-afternoon* and abandoned ship because it just simply wasn't worth my time.

I’ve always been a fan of Double Black…. wish polo would pick the Black line back up and create a new Double Black flanker.. The woody mango with coffee is an original dna… It just falls a touch flat. Still nice… Just could be more.
I never really thought Polo DB smelled dated… It does have a hint of a “cologne” smell… But that’s it charm.. It was a nice blend of classic and modern.. I agree… 7-8/10 all day. Let’s get an updated flanker!

I got the itch for a rack store find and toured some here around town, found the Polo Double Black 4.2 oz for $49.99 and jumped on it, awesome scent and you’re right very nostalgic, and picked up English Laundry - London EDP for $12.99 in the box, I know longevity sucks but for $12.99 I can carry an atomizer and respray
I know i'm getting old when people are feeling 2007 is past. Feels like yesterday to me. Almost wore that Sean John Unforgivable today but it was overcast and i smelled Khamrah and was like, "Nope, that Khamrah smells so good i have to wear it. If i wanted to wear something else i shouldn't have sniffed Khamrah." lol. Unforgivable might have to be tomorrow.
Also I just got polo Blue (current scent of the day) and it’s reminding me of watermelons, idk if it’s a new formulation but I like it nonetheless. I was thinking about getting polo black, ya videos keep me smelling good

Smells great! I give it a solid 8 out of 10.! Great review. Love the intro music as your at Ross picking up and suggesting the good fragrances.

Finding something that's age appropriate without being lame can be tricky, depending on their age. I think I did pretty good by getting my nephew Mont Bland Legend and my niece Ariana Grande Cloud, but I wouldn't have been able to figure that out without watching hours and hours of fragrance review videos, so thank you for all your hard work.
I get jealous when I see your selections at rack stores, lol. Even though I know the English Laundry ones aren't really worth it anymore, for 20$ to sample 4 of them I would be all in- I've never found one of the coffret sets in the wild that was still in one piece. You had 2 complete sets there! Hoping that the rack stores step up their game with the holidays approaching. After searching many different rack stores and seeing very little worth purchasing I've kind of given up- but will definitely be heading out again as the holidays draw closer.

You flipped through like three of the Pierre Cardin Pour Monseur, if you’ve never tried it, I challenge you to give it a go. It’s one of my favorite old-school scents, and it stays in my rotation. ‘Even gotta backup bottle 🙂

I don't remember the name but personally to me the Noir, this and the black one all smell like 1 Million with their own twists, that being said I blind bought Red and the black bottle and very disappointed in it since they basically smell the same to me.

Icon is decent. Smells like frankincense and woods. Holiday type scent. But signature is sexy. If you’ve tried cremo vintage suede or Tuscan leather, it’s right there.
You should have grabbed Deauville Bleu by Michael Germain! He has some really good quality fragrances! He is a Canadian perfumer. I am curious about that one!

The Guess Seductive line are definitely a great scents. Longevity kinda sucks though. Reapply!! Lol
