Pistol Grips for the Adderini Crossbow

The Adderini is a 3D printed bolt shooting device that can be configured in both crossbow and sling bow forms (I've made my own moded version).
I found the grip a bit small and wanted to make it bigger and dress it up a bit.
I've designed an easy to print grip, that secures through a hole in the existing handle.

Is this toy or good enough for self defense? And could this be used to stop man wearing jackets with knives?

That will be perfect for my white frame adderini! My grip collected dead skin and gives a bad looking stain.
