Many years ago there was a traveling diamond show. It was fascinating. The first case had about 50 different colors of diamonds. Very beautiful. There was jewelry, uncut stones, and other things like shoes, belts, etc. I hope this show is still traveling a great experience

Awe, poor matrix! He's so dern cute! :) I didn't have much luck lookin fer diamonds but i loved the diamond at 7:14! , I think the better payout was findin the quartz. Great video though, took me back to some good memories with some of my friends and I there!:)

Hello. I am looking to plan a roadtrip to try and find amethyst or other gems with my son as a mother/son activity. He is a teenager and it is so hard connecting with him, but he has always been excited about amethyst hunting.
I've done hours and hours of research online and can't seem to find any info on how I may go about planning a trip. I am wondering if there is a way to connect with a local person and pay for a more private/guided experience who can help us. It seems that a lot of the experience happens on private property, which would be impossible for me to plan for coming from PA.
