Great video thanks, looking to buy and replace our existing unit (2018 model) as at the moment if you touch the on off knob or use it to turn up or down the whole system crashes and goes into reset/reboot mode. It takes ages to reset and is very annoying. Have you ever heard of this problem? Thanks.

Mothers fellas car went in for a standard service.... when they got it back the centre console doesn't turn on. They are not accepting it was there fault. I've checked fuses under glove box, side of drivers door and under the bonnet and all are fine. Any solutions? I'm guessing there's a fuse at the back of the stereo?
Always like your video's. Do you know what the collor and polarety of the speakerwires are.. And if these radio's with navigation have a code..want to ad a sunwoofer but dont know the wire colors and afraid to disconnect the radio sins i dit not get a code with the car...
yes, I have the teyes cc3 head unit delivered from China Ali express took about 10 days for delivery no import duties everything works 360 cameras & steering wheel buttons plug& play look it up on UA-cam.

Hi there, I've been informed that to get the connect 4 system to work after installation, you just need to get Nissan to recode your keys to the vehicle (should be about 30 minutes labour), this will then add the head unit to the cars security system. I'm currently in the process of doing this upgrade, but just waiting for my connectors/plugs to arrive so I can finish the wiring.
@@TheQashqaiGuy I've not got a quote for myself yet as need to finish the conversion, but I've seen around £60-£120. I think it depends what is asked, just the key reprogramme should be £60 I'd say for 30 minutes, they don't even need to know about the head unit change as I think this is what confuses a lot of dealers and much be policy. A key specialist should be able to do it, providing they can rewrite the cars security codes, so i think they would need the Nissan Consult software. But it's worth asking the dealer for a cost to reprogramme the keys to the car. Personally this upgrade is woth the price and I'd still pay £120 to get android auto/car play in the qashqai, much cheaper then replacing the car 😀
@@TheQashqaiGuy There is a way to glitch the system to working (but it will be slow but its good for testing purposes). - Turn car on - Put in reverse straight away - Press the camera button and cycle the different views - When you hear the music you know it's working - Put in neutral (or park) - Cameras usually stay on the screen at this point - Press the home button. If that doesn't work put in reverse and take it out again Also the USB socket doesn't seem to provide enough power to run Andriod Auto/Car Play, so you'll either need to modify it or use a Y Splitter Cable and a USB charger in the 12V socket.
@@TheQashqaiGuy it doesn't seem to provide enough power for it to work at all, but using the Y splitter USB you get one USB that does power+data and the other just power which then allows it to work. You could modify the wiring behind the unit but using the Splitter seems the easiest method and you can hide it all in the armrest

Yes. Check Amazon for options. The best known is the dasaita unit.

I have a cracked screen. Don’t ask. Any advice on whether it can be replaced. The touch screen in not usable. Kind regards. Phil

So it doesn't supply enough power to charge the phone or not enough for it to work at all?
