Great idea of adding LEDs. The Govee light strip has such a short cable between the strip and controller but yours is quite lengthy so you're able to place controller outside of cover. My question is did you buy an extension (if so where did you get it) or rig one up?
@mrzif0013 in the winter I plug the exterior outlet for the sump exit at the house and it re-routes and just pumps into the floor drain instead so it doesn't freeze in the cold temps
What is the fresh air supply? Frozen pips potential? My 1904 house is drafty an exhaust fan would possibly cause majodisin crease in heating demand. Thoughts of potential improvements to a well installed system. Keep it up
Love the installation, but I was told by Radon Contractor here in Illinois we must have the fan installed on outside of bldg. and the top of the 4" PVC has to be min. 12" over the roof line, what is your opinion about It?
My opinion is you should follow local code, however I definitely prefer this type of installation where the fan is inside for serviceability reasons. It keep moisture and freezing temps away from the fan and I can easily check the manometer to ensure it's working. The reason why the code states it needs to be outside is in case your joints leak you aren't pumping radon into your house but that can be mitigated by installing a meter inside and ensuring you monitor it frequently. I personally don't think the risk is that high that something like that would happen. As for running the exterior tube above the roof line, there's a good study that someone did about the hazards of radon reentry into the home with an at grade exit similar to mine and the risk was low, however if you are sitting directly in front of the exhaust for extended periods of time it is not safe.
@dgurpreetpalsingh the dranjer you can also buy on radondetects site or from radon matter they are in town. The dranjer is made in winnipeg but you can't buy direct you have to go through one of their vendors
Smart idea for the plexiglass and LEDs. Thorough design. Great job!

Good work 👍🏻👍🏻, and worth the effort to get those harmful radon gas readings down into the single digits!
Nice clean job. I am in Michigan. What do you mean having winter/summer mode for sump pump?

Where I can buy sump pit cover and other stuff in Winnipeg. Home depot doesn't have any of these pit covers.
@@dgurpreetpalsingh Sump pit cover, radon fan, and manometer I got from radondetects website, the rest of the piping I got from home depot or rona
