I've been to Ruggles Mine several times in my life. Last time I went there,I brought my camera 📸 and took photos of the mine. A wonderful experience!

Ruggles is a great time. I always loved the scenery when I went, and I believe I found a small piece of Uranium during my trip.

due to learning that history in New England is older than our history books thought, I wonder how long this has actually been here.
My Grandfather was Caesar Perry who passed away in 1934 from Black Lung because of working in Ruggles Mine.

I've been trying to contact the owners to find out if they may have any info on pass workers. Only recently heard of my grandfather.

there hasn't been any "mining" for decades... the owners bought gem stones at the local gem shop and seeded the mine. BTW it's NOT abandoned, don't go trespassing.
