What a point sir. The ones who actually want to study but due to their failure to crack those entrance exams, he/she is not awarded with the great teachers. Rather he/she is awarded the sub-standard teachers who fail to solve all the queries of those students. The students with lesser marks more need better teachers rather than those who are already excelling in their careers. AT SOME POINT TEACHERS SHOULD BE CHOSEN NOT THE STUDENTS.

Sir, the thought that you are talking about i.e. free education is already available in exactly the same way as you are suggesting. I refer here to NPTEL, an open online platform where online courses are taught and from top tutors of INDIA, mainly from IITs and IISc. And even the list of courses is huge and for some courses, you can choose among professors. Exam are also held offline, assignments are as well and even by paying very less amount if you can you get certificate for the same showing your performance. Students even have a option to rate the courses taught. So, its already there. But I think problem is with mentality that we still have same, students don't want to go to top institutions to learn much better but there prefer it because they know about there placement stats and students think only that.
In fact, in the CFTI's there is no need of undergraduate education since most of the students are not really interested in the research work done at these institutes. So, the only thing that matters for them is fulfilling the course requirements and getting a certificate by the end, which can be done through an online interactive platform. But the problem is how will they do the courses which have lab components?
I don't fully agree that students only think about placement stats. More important thing according to me and which matters is the environment you are studying in. The environment , the brilliant professsors and passionate students you are surrounded by does make really big difference in your learning process.
