He fought muay thai only for a few years, won a few amateur medals in china and then trained muay thai in thailand for a short while. He transitioned into kickboxing after his muay thai career and now hes back to a more kickboxing/sanda style, he currently trains out of Dadongxiang kickboxing club which is mostly a sanda/kickboxing gym (although all the best fighters in the gym started out in Muay thai like him except TIeyinghua who started out with traditional kung fu). Recently theres talk of him going into mma. His standup is light years ahead of most guys in UFC or Bellator but his wrestling/grappling is probably pretty suspect at this point.
