Forest Temple..not just my favorite in oot but in entire Zelda series. Heres my entire list 1- Forest Temple 2-Spirit Temple 3- Ganons Castle 4-Water Temple 5-Shadow Temple 6-Dodongos Cavern 7-Deku tree 8- Jabu Jabus belly 9- Fire Temple Did not include bottom of the well and Ice Cavern.
Spirit Temple, the fact that it's visited as child and adult Link was a great feature in Ocarina. As only adult Link, Water Temple, miss one key and you're backtracking. As child Link Dodongos Cavern, it really brought in the use of Z Targeting
Thats the best part. It’s not even close. Jabu Jabu is C tier dungeon while the Deku tree is high A low S so even though they’re neighbors on this list, it doesn’t mean they’re even close in terms of quality
The water temple issue of the locked door is due to the fact that there is a really high chance you are gunna miss the compass before you hit the locked door, and you end up raising the water passed the point of getting that small key.
The water temple gets so much hate, but I always liked it, if only for the miniboss. Shadow Link is my favorite moment in OoT bar none. Also maybe I'm just weird, but I pretty much always do Spirit Temple before Shadow. Most of Shadow Temple still gives me the heebie jeebies and I've been playing that game for more than 20 years now.
…you know the ice cavern is likely the remains of the oringal water temple design because ganons castle to my understanding was made using the original design ideas for the game. The history for this games is a fun thing to follow
OoT3D is just a remaster, not a remake. Same for MM3D. All Grezzo did was patch up the original N64 code to port to 3DS with asset updates. They didn't program from scratch like an actual remake.
Honestly yeah, I feel like ganons castle is a missed opportunity to make one final dungeon that's big and ties everything together rather than 6 different trials. Bottom of the well is so weird too. Unless you want to 100% the game you really only have to drain the water and grab the lens of truth, then leave.

The fact that the Deku Tree is anywhere close the Jabu Jabu's Belly is a devious choice. But you're forgiven because your Ice Cavern take was good.

Gerudo Fortress and Gerudo Training Grouds could technically be classed as a mini dungeons. To me Forest Temple is clear number 1.

Before watching this I'm going to say the Forest Dungeon and the Desert Dungeon are the best. Will see what you put as the best now.
