Yep and good for the open water. But I moved to an area with more small lakes recently and am looking at getting something a bit more playful... thats how I stumbled onto your videos!
I found #3 is fun and the sliding/drifting is controllable at full turn of the bars, I had it on #4 (second from the top) and it rides on rails. I will try them on #2 for more sliding fun. I have a 2021 GTX 230
I actually went out on the ski earlier today on the 4th setting and it was like it wad on rails like you said. If I was only doing speed runs or was doing a race I'd go with 4. For everything else and the enjoyment of people who also ride it I'll leave it at 3.
Hey bud, i ride in that area too on my 19TX. I mostly spend my time at the sandbar by the housing on the Silver Strand. I've been contemplating getting these sponsons due to the bow hunting of ST3 hull. I hate riding the rough water going to the Point Loma area. How is your experience with these sponsons going ~30mph on a very choppy water? Hope to hear from you and thanks.
I ride south of the bridge mostly when I'm doing speed runs since its a bit less choppy and usually less boats out there too. These will help a ton with the bow hunting. It wont eliminate it completely especially as the chop increases, but they do make a good bit of difference! You should have a bit more confidence going oceanside between San Diego Bay and Mission Bay.
The ones I take riding are pretty tight compared to my normal sunglasses. They take a fair bit to get tossed off. Usually I have the little bands on them just in case, but I have been known to forget them.
Very nice ski. Smooth looking ride. Sea Doo makes best looking runabout.

How are your sunglasses staying on?? I feel like mine fly off and disappear down to Davy Jones's locker at half that speed
