Thank you! These are some longer versions of videos I produce for a separate channel for my dealership. I'll upload them here when I can't consolidate them to 5 minutes. BUT I do have some new projects coming up that are a little different but still automotive
Hi Kelsey! I am a rising college student in New York who wants to get into the automotive industry in the near future. I'm wondering if you could make a video talking about the steps you took to work for BMW as a salesperson (By this I mean stuff like going to college or not, what college majors might be beneficial for this type of job, did you work at another dealership before working for BMW, etc.) This would help me and others a lot. Thanks!
Andrés Camacho Hi! That’s awesome the automotive field is a lot of fun. As I mention at the beginning of most of my videos, I’m a BMW Genius not a Client Advisor. It may be different at different dealerships depending on the parent company but mine doesn’t require any kind of degree for our sales team. Some do have degrees in various fields but it’s not a prerequisite. We also don’t require experience for entry level positions like that. It can help with internal promotions but again not always. But I’d be more than happy to make a video explaining that and how I got my job if you want more information!
Kelsey Vogel Heyy, thanks for getting back! And, please excuse my delayed response, I didn’t get a notification when you responded my question. That’s really interesting what you said there, and it helped me clarify my doubts. If you have the spare time and energy, please make a video going more in-depth on this. I would appreciate it greatly.
Thanks Kelsey! These videos are very helpful! Any more videos coming up?
I have a couple in the works! I just started a new position and haven’t made time to edit. Anything you’d like to see?
Maybe how a deep dive in individualizing keys? I had a heck of a time trying set up my driver profile.
Keep making videos! You do an excellent job. If I were you; I would review every BMW model and even mix in some older CPO models.
