Hi guys, i would like to ask you a thing: I've been listening to riddim dubstep for a long time (around 2 years) and fell in love with it. My favourite songs are the ones with the laser sound and on top of it the normal melody drop (usually happens in the second part of the drop / sorry guys i don't even know how to explain that). Take for example the second part (0:50) of the first drop of g notic from akeos and neonix. Damn they are so difficult to find and i fucking love them but i don't know their name (if they acutally have one); is there a way to search them? On soundcloud i found influenza from obayifo, but nothing related. Is there acutally a playlist? can anyone help me? Thank you very much for your attention! Have a good day. Just scrolling down my playlist i found some examples so you can understand better: g notic - akeos ocean lab - subtronics influenza - obayifo cybernetics - shrq last life - svdden death assimilate - midnight tyrannosaurus
Okay 2 years isn't a long time, try 10 years lmao. So those lazery sounds dont really have a proper name because they are all made in slightly different ways. If you like short, minimalistic, riddim with won't lazer sounds; hukae, Og Nixin, Neonix, are the goats
RiddimWook10 i’ve been into the dubstep scene since 8 years ago but minimalistic riddim (the real underground one) probably just 2/3 years. But I noticed that some of those songs have that type of sound too
RiddimWook10 for example i know that a type of dubstep is called gun, it’s more a style than a type but for example you can recognize it by the patterns and the sound, so i thought that was possible too with the lazery sound
Maybe a bit late but hope I can help, I understood that you are looking for the lazer/digital sounds, those kind of sound can be heard in tracks from Cromatik, Akronym, Kleavr x Tantrum, Digitist, Ganon and on some of Jphelpz. The best example that comes to mind would be Kleavr x Tantrum - Ion Pulse
Love the Local 58 reference.
Yeah
mhm
Dubstep just continues to evolve, absolutely nuts
How is everything so clean and refined. This guy is sound design Jesus. Love this album, Lee. Can't wait to hear this live.
This is the kinda filth I look for in riddim. Such a masterpiece of a track
Sick
Yo this tune fuckin bangs.
