- An old, semi-scratched record plate rests inside a black leather sleeve, the latter still in solid condition - although the opening flap is a little worn at the folded edge.
There is no visible text on this packaging - neither outside it, nor within it. Instead, at the front of the sleeve, a singular symbol of sorts stands out, etched into the leather in gold. The significance of the symbol - and, indeed, its meaning, - escape you.
Upon closer inspection, the sleeve's flap hides a cut in it - a pouch, it seems. Within it is contained a small piece of paper. It looks as if it was torn from a book of some kind, its appearance weathered, the paper itself now bearing a rich sepia tone.
There is some sort of writing on it, artfully calligraphed onto the insignificant-looking paper scrap:
"Defy the hush-makers. Let the glorious song ring on. We shall sing with the tide, 'til a new Celtor sinks!

Who is the ministry?
This sounds like something that the duke would listen to while cooped up in his mansion. But that those leitmotifs definitely lead me to believe it’s related to the ministry or the Krulians
Possibly the ferry man’s library.
Considering the fact that his poem talks about the song and sinking the "new celtor" the ministry would make the most sense. When they say "new celtor" I would not take that as literally a new town of Celtor people but basically a town of people who have become just as greedy and corrupt as those from Old Celtor. I don't believe it to be related to Krulians because my head canon is that Krulians are people who are no longer under the influence of the song/have been able to create their own songs. This could explain why Ferryman has his own attunement.

ferryman is a krulian we gotta get more lore about krulians. the only things we know is that they are powerfull demigod-like beings that are between humanity and the drowned gods. they can shapeshift and they live on the island in the voidsea

I like how this song acts as a sort of basis for the ministry motif since, while its very prominent, there isnt really any other song that 100% dedicated to the ministry
it *IS* an old semi-scratched disc as stated in the description, which I suppose resembles the Ministry now flaring back up after long dormancy, or the drownings. Maybe both.

The confusing part is there is only 2 songs that do not play in deepwoken that are on the official soundtrack list, the non-band version of the gidushu march and this. I have a feeling this might be hidden somewhere in the game, undiscovered. Maybe even in a similar way to how a memory of tides playing in the secret hive room.
i doubt it considering exploiters searched every crack and crease a long time ago but its possible. i hope they use this song in the game one day because it was at one point but the place that played it was scrapped

In an area accessible only by clipping through multiple walls at Hive and its a small, dusty room with multiple spiderwebs and a bed with a small shelf with this playing on a Graphophone (Idk what its called)

@@gearldbarn5609 actually, there's a hidden phonograph that plays this song inside a room in hive you're supposed to break down to enter. unfortunately the breaking in spot is covered by a metal dresser so you can't get in without clipping into the walls at weird angles.

In lore, they're a mysterious group of cultist-like shadowcast users that can be found in Minityrsa. All that is known at the moment is that most or all of them are not human.
