That isn't likely, because in transformers, a spark isn't a 100 percent physical object, sure you can see it and maybe even feel it while touching, but you can not extract it from a cybertronian's spark chamber by simple brute force, you'd need a spark extractor for that, what Megatron could've done, is eaten his spark chamber, but that would've killed Jazz for sure, and when a cybertronian dies, his spark joins the Allspark automatically.

And then if he didn't end them, it'd just be Batman and the Joker all over again where he keeps sparing him and then he escapes and kills more and more. Optimus is more decisive than that. However, I think "give me your face" is a terrible line for him in practically any context but the least they could have done is leave the scenes in that put that line into context so Optimus doesn’t come across like Leatherface lol. Especially if they still leave the line itself in. Michael Bay must have ADD like crazy. I mostly still like his movies though. Even most of the Transformers..
