Manjari is an outstanding exponent of Ghazal Gayaki! She caresses each word and extracts the meaning of the Ghazal like very few singers since Farida Khanum. It is surprising that she is from Kerala, not from the Hindi heartland. The emergence of two more female Ghazal singers, Sitara and Gayatri also from Kerala is shifting the capital of Ghazal gayaki to the tiny South Indian State!
Ghazals (and Gajals) are in Urdu, not Hindi.
Manjari spent many of her younger years in Muscat / Oman . Thus impeccable accent and a special understanding of Ghazals , Language and nuances therein. Listeners like me feel so fortunate.
