Sr. Ann Astell, Professor of Theology at the University of Notre Dame, presents on the Monks of Tibhirine, the seven Trappist monks depicted in the film "Of Gods and Men." This lecture is the second of seven lectures in the 2018 Saturdays with the Saints series.
Saturdays with the Saints is a series of public lectures on the lives of the saints delivered on the morning of Notre Dame home football games. This event is sponsored by the McGrath Institute for Church Life and is in its ninth consecutive season.
