Agatized Coral, AKA Fossilized Coral, is formed when agate, a form of chalcedony replaces the minerals in coral. This process takes 20-30 million years and is known as pseudomorphic. These fossils are from the Oligocene-Miocene period. Agatized Coral is between 38-25 million years old. (google)

Thanks for watching! Have a great day!
Those were really gorgeous coral pieces. The coral heads are wonderful. Its so neat to see them in their natural state. And to be able to see them inside. Thanks for sharing.
So much hidden beauty in this world!!!! 😮
So interesting that the bands are so much more apparent under the UV light. 🙂
So cool 😎
Beautiful sharing 👍😊
Good idea to bring the UV light out. They look great under UV.
Especially that last one, really amazing bands hiding in there
Good morning mijo....Those were nice....I really like the one that purple shine....of course 💜😄
Agatised coral is always awesome specially under uv light. 🤟👍
I don't know a thing about rocks and I have no idea why UA-cam suggested this to me, but I'm having a fantastic time watching this. I Learned today that rocks can glow under UV!
Wow! So beautiful inside!😊❤️
Now that was fascinating. Really beautiful especially under UV light. Thanks for sharing.
Love!! That big one was a brain. What is the red that shows up under the black light? Super cool. And still LOVe your format…Cut the rock, show the rock. You ROCK agate Dad!!
I loved that third coral, it kind of looks like a brain. Talk about poetic!
That was awesome! Love the botryoidal. Especially loved your transition filming from the regular light to UV light!
Nice finds well done
* Those were such a surprise.. Thanks for showing us.. The UV showed the same red as the yooperlites out of Canada.. Never knew UV would show such impressive Agate bands..
Wow. Those look amazing.
Dude so amazing giant agatized coral
So beautiful!!!
OMG! The second time I watched this I really noticed the cavities. They’re beautiful. 👍👍
Amazing! Nature is a beautiful thing! Thank you so much for sharing!
Those were awesome, even better under the uv light! Thanks for sharing!
What fun, unboxing and then cut, cut, cut. I'm always amazed by the black that is in there. Love the video side, by, side cut and the UV. Lots of work. Thanks for sharing! Be happy, safe and stay healthy! 😷⚒
Beautiful! ❤
I loved the first and second coral pieces. Awesome under uv! 😃🥰
They are truly beautiful and gorgeous to look at, especially under UV. 😍😍. You make cutting them look so easy when I know it’s not ( well for beginners anyway). Thank you for sharing
That first rock was beautiful with the ultraviolet light!
Love what the black light shows 👍👍
Same!
Those are so beautiful.
They are!
Very awesome 😎👍 I love that stuff ❤️
I love these videos and your ig posts!
Thanks so much!
Wow very cool!
That UV light definitely brings out the richness of it...
All are beauties!
Amazingly beautiful 👍💕
Those are some really NICE pieces! I’m still picking out what I want to send you… I hope if you show it off you use more of this cool music!
dude im feelin the vibe of this video good song choice! always love your vids bro you're one seriously under-rated rockhound-youtuber.
WOW, the things you can do with the right equipment
Right?
I just learned about these agatized corals! They are so gorgeous and unusual! Amazing. Every single one is beautiful in its own way. I hope I get the chance to find one someday--my kids are big into rock collecting so maybe we'll have to visit Florida one day together to hunt for these :D
Fabulous
Very cool
Hi, thank you for the video! What did you use to clean up the inside? Did you use a strong acid, vinegar, citric acid, or just pressure washer? They turned out so beautiful!
The last one looks like a 🧠 under uv light. 🔥🔥
Agatisated corals are really beautiful!♥
They really are!
Rock on
Hey, I really enjoy your channel, and I have a really interesting chunk of rock I'd like you to look at and possibly cut that I found in Central Nevada.
So nice, love those corals. Have you ever cut some local corals to see how they look inside?
I haven’t yet, I haven’t found enough quite yet
Rất độc là và đẹp mắt bên trong những viên đá hóa thạch san hô Chúc mừng bạn nhiều nhé
Wow!!
Wow! I think pieces like that last one would look better with a side cut more like a window that cut down the middle. It would have showed it off better & you could have seen more of the agate easier
Black lights take rock hounding to another level! Just Stunning!
We looked from Two Harbors to Grand Portage this weekend. So many people the beaches were packed. We'll have to go up next mo th and try for agates we found a ton of thomsonite and jasper. Cold but still went swimming after em on paradise beach
I just found you! Are you near Duluth MN? I have a few agates you could cut into. Lol. This is awesome!
Muoto perfeita esses Geodos
Awesome video! It sounds like the beach crystal cave got you sick! I'd say still worth it 🤣
Tienen un color muy bonito bajo la luz ultravioleta.
Like those little specs of sodalite too.
The red bits were paint from my saw blade
@@AgateDad you mean the orange glowing particles were the paint from the saw?
These look great, what do you do with them ?
Meu aonho ter uma maquina dessas. Onde vc comprou?
Nice pieces, but I prefer when you cut the plain agates... 🤷♀️
Off topic but I thought of you when I saw a picture today of 30 types of LS agates. Was wondering how many different types you have? My bet is all 30.
What would be the best saw and blades you've used for cutting geodes and agates? What do you do for super huge specimens? Also, what UV light are you using? short wave?
name of the cutting maschine ?
👍👍😍😍😍
But my vote is the third one!
Did I miss something? How do you clean it up?
Definitely did not miss anything. I cleaned it with hot water a tooth brush.
😱🤗👏
You sound sick Taylor 😢
I am getting I’ve a little cold, luckily on the up and up each day
What do you do with the stuff that you wash out of the cracks and crevices the gunk as you call it
Throw it away
I think some specialists would be interested in that "gunk"....
Ancient biomaterials & their secrets gone..
I do enjoy watching your videos but this is the first time I've seen one where you do this
This is, how you say, cutting edge?
Do you know anyone that would cut a rock into as many slabs as possible and at what coast ❓ rock dimensions are 12" X 8 " X 2 " thick. Cut in 12" long slabs. I live in Duluth sounds like you are in the same area.
Coral. Swag.
Can you just glue that piece back on that fractured off the rock?
The first one and last one you cut remind me of a brain.
Totally! 🧠
Or 🫁
ain't nothing that old
Dont like it lol
