I know this will sound weird If I post this here.
I found out there is a possibility that my dog, who’s 12 and close to turning 13 this year, will not make it through this summer. I am still uncertain if he’ll really die this summer, but he’s not eating much, and he already has heart failure. My family has had him since 2015, when he was 8. He’s my best friend and has always been my side. Whenever I was sad or stressed he was always there to cheer me up and make me smile. He knows how to bring joy into my day. I’m so scared I’ll lose him any moment. I don’t want to think about it but I just can’t stop worrying each new day I wake up to will be my last one with him😔
For now, I will continue to enjoy each moment I spend with him.
Cherish your pets and hold them tight, because you never truly know when you have to say goodbye.

This is such an emotional song - it always reminds me of a boy in my group, Adam McCormack, who died in January last year. They played it at my formal last month with a tribute to Adam. All very fitting but it really brought out sad feelings.
i'm using the song to make a edit for my auntie, uncle and cousins as there dog had to be put down becuase of cancer 2 days ago.
