Bonjour, très bien la troisième partie toujours avec de belles images qui donne envie de voyager. Continuez comme ça toujours un plaisir de vous suivre dans vos aventures.
We have just treated ourselves to 4G data for this, rather than wait for free Wi-Fi... as we watched, we realised we were sitting in a syncro Westy, on our own adventure. The inspiration you guys have provided to us and everyone else doesn’t fade. This beats TV every day of the week. So proud to watch Isaac too, he’s grown up with you guys showing him a life that’s really going to prepare him for the future. We loved it and can’t wait to catch up when we are back.
Thanks Mike, your kind words mean allot. The best thing about making content like this is I get to meet nice people like yourself and Stef. Stay safe, Jed
Thank you David, I always like to give something back to the UA-cam community as I have been given so much inspiration by others in the past. They are all good safe places to stay for sure. Thank you for the high 5. Jed
Not a problem John. I just booked the Tunnel for a two week trip over Christmas so you can get a short fix then. Did you ever check out our Arctic Circle film series here, ua-cam.com/video/aZU5b1AKz_E/v-deo.html&pbjreload=10 Or our Morocco one here, ua-cam.com/video/QAAMUVRnUBg/v-deo.html&pbjreload=10 If not that should keep you busy for a while. Thank you for the comment and kind words, Jed
Beautiful, beautiful Croatia. What a place that is. What a great vlog and what a great adventure. You inspired us in 2012 to drive our van down to Croatia. Came back via Mont Blanc and Chamonix. You must go back to the Alps, so amazing there. Thank you so much for this. Isaac is a lucky lad having all these wonderful experiences. Cheers guys and have a beer for me!
Thanks Alan, just having one for you now as it goes. Thank you for the high 5 and kind words. I think everyone needs to go to Croatia at least once every 3 years I say. Its good for you.. Jed
Great series, I discovered the channel a few weeks ago and am loving the content and the the great trips. The new camper looks great too, the only thing that has me stumped is how you get the bikes on and off the rack. It is pretty high up. Anyway keep up the great content and I am off to look at another one of your trips.
Thanks for the nice video, you were in my neighborhood. I live in Zadar Croatia, I am glad that you liked it on the island of Pag, although you should visit the oldest olive trees in the place Lun. Mountain Velebit has many nice roads for your vehicle, so if you visit Croatia again try to see them. Landscapes are unforgettable Good Greetings from Croatia!
Thank you krešimir kovačević. I have a feeling we may be visiting the area again next year at some time so you can let me have a ride of your beautiful motorcycle. Jed
All that luxury is going to make you soft Jeb 😜nice video . Dig the new rig man I’d love to have one like it but that tire changing looks ball busting . just count my blessings I’ve got a Westy
It is a nice tidy time traveling in the truck it has to be said. It won't make me to soft and I will always look like I am homeless and not traveling in to much luxury these days. I will be getting my Westy back up and running early next year too. I miss it. Jed
You were right the best of the 3 loved the filming some great sights love to visit some time. Health and safety wearing flip flops changing the tyre cracked me up😂. Can’t wait to watch your families next adventures. Would love to talk about the van sometime when your free maybe via email.
@@jasonpetley2836 I just now booked the tunnel for a couple of weeks chill time over Xmas away in the truck but just finding insparation just now. I have a few places in mind so just need to chip them down a bit into a plan of action. Jed
Hi, nice video! Happy to see the coordinates of your campsites. Thanks for the inspiration! If you want to go back to the Chamonix - Mont Blanc area then maybe the last weekend of august is a perfect period to combine it with the "4x4 foire de Valloire", like the overland show in Stratford and the Abentuer & allrad show in Bad-Kissingen it is an excelent place to see some nice things but above all to meet some overlanders in a most sympathetic environment. I allways go for the friendly atmosphere, the inviting terraces & restaurants, and the beautiful surroundings in the Alps. I hope to meet you one day.
I'm sure you will not regret this. It's free and just in the streets of the little town. In the surroundings there are also demos, films, trail trails and you can subscribe for a guided tour with your own 4x4. There is a small campsite but fully booked well in advance, but no problem all streets and surroundings are full of overlanders, that's part of the atmosphere. We will try to be near the entrance of the campsite, that's in short walking distance from the exposition (in the town centre) and the supermarket. Afterwards there's plenty of possibilities for exploring trails and tracks in the alps, especialy the old forts arround the French-Italian border. I'm looking forward to it. And ... thanks for the beer! I know a place there with good Belgian beer.
Wow, your camper is pretty impressive! The added living interior space must be so welcomed. I noticed in some of the pictures you posted of your interior build, you use an aluminum square tube and nylon connectors for cabinets and such, no doubt to save on weight. In the States some call it "quick frame" here. I find most camper conversion stick to wood construction. Can you tell us how the tube construction has held up over time? Did you feel the need to reinforce it with glue or "L" brackets for additional stability? Not sure why more people don't use this method? Can you speak on the pros and cons of this system/materials in a conversion? Thanks!

Absolutely bloody brilliant - thanks once again guys! I have just watched this on my 55" TV (size does matter) rather than on my PC monitor and it was almost as if I was there with you! I take it that is a hand held CB next to the TV? Have you ever thought about PMR 446 Hand Held radios for everyone (maybe you use them already)?
Thanks again for your nice comment GateKommand. We have a fixed CB in the cab and only really use the one in the back if someone goes back there when driving and they want to talk with who is in the cab. Usually to say what drinks or snacks are in the fridge! It is also if the truck needs spotting through a tight spot. The hand held gets taken out and the spotter can talk me through the tricky bit of road. Also for when we get back into the Sahara and if someone goes to the toilet over a dune or two or a short walk. You know how bad that one can go right so it is just a nice tool to have for situations like that. Jed
Hi shaw4020, thanks for the comment and a great point. Maybe I will do a blog and pop it all in one place for you to tune in and check out. Thanks for the inspiration, I will keep this in mind for a future video. Jed
Reminds me of changing wheels on Bedford MK's when I was in the baggy green skin. Impressive face fur there Jed. I'm mildly jealous. Some really stunning spots on this series. So many places I need to go now. The Managon is the business. Serious achievement in building her. I take it you're still going to be using the Westy from time to time?
Yep.. The Westy is still here, just resting for now. I am going to jump on that next and get it tip top for mrs adventures. Thanks for the kind comments. Jed
Fantastic trip thank you. With that truck why don't you have air or DC tools for tire. There are some reasonable priced air driven jacks too! Talk flats too much!!!!thanks again!!!
