- This video is a Lil bit of yappin' about the framework on Twitter (now X) , this video also gives you a brief introduction and comparison to the Javascript framework Next Js and PHP's Laravel.
Next js in 2 Minutes: • What is NEW NEXT JS 15?
Laravel is fullstack by default. It is only backend when it seamlessly integrates with React, Vue or Svelte through InertiaJs.
You can literally use next js with laravel at the same time.
How?
@@Ahmad-HirzAllah set up API in laravel and call it from nextjs
laravel inertia with react is very VERY comparable to nextjs.... its just that laravel comes with everything u would need to download libraries for if you are using next... you can ssr react with laravel
the thing i like is that laravel does everything for you, what i mean is that 95% of the things you would need to do have already a way for you in the docs to do it, and its explained in a very simple way, so basically if you just take time to read the docs of laravel and inertia, you would be able to build anything because it explains to you exactly what you need to do and how to do it and already has the tools you need
and if you add ontop of that a ui library like tailwind ui, man... the speed of wich you can make apps is insane.....
Your content is awesome. Just drop the accent, you don't need it.
Some people use both in the same project. But yeah, Laravel is just way more stable and complete.
Two completely different frameworks. There's no comparison here
NestJS enjoyers watching this thread while NextJS soydrinkers pulling their hair out.
I'm both lol 😂
NextJS can do SSR... WOW
PHP invented SSR my man 😅
Also comparing Laravel to NextJS is like comparing swiss knife to a butter knife.
To express my opinion , Next is great , but i am using it only for the frontend for rendering , auth middleware ...
And i am using Nestjs another great backend framework which used OOP and its battery included
This helps me separate concerns between front and back
So you don't write logic on the backend side of Next.js? How exactly do you handle the conmunication?
Awesome mix tbh. Probably best one in JS world.
What is this man yapping about hahahahh
Comparison is Biased too much favour for laravel i mean next js is not perfect but nor is Laravel 😂
true, I'll make new JS framework for that
Symfony shits on Laravel....
