Great video and helpful pointers! Made my install much easier. Potential tip for future installers. My washers for the joiners were out of spec and slightly too wide to line up with holes for the screws. Put them in a vice and used a metal file to shave off just a little on one side and they were good to go.
i have a 98 land cruiser purchase new, dealer as been servicing for 20 years, no one said there are air filters that need to be changed, i did not notice in the manual 310,000 now, air was not blowing i was ready for a timing belt water pump went to a used land cruiser in garden grove CA Timing belt water pump went well, now the air conditioner the filters that did not exist except for the original that some people remove or clean i put a used air filter motor in, came back to the mechanic not blowing strong add friant, back to the mechanic the existing filter was clogged, mechanic said need to remove the dash $1000.00 i said no i will research it and i found this page well done thank you, i found another page they just went evil with the existing filter just removed it through the 1'' filter slot, i chose a toothbrush got 1/2 the existing filter length
“I guess Chinese can make a little bit of quality” lol Honestly your videos have helped me understand my 1998 Cruiser n getting simple things fixed on it. Being a solo female with no auto mechanics knowledge And taking it to the Dealer is a nightmare that leaves me broke with no money every time I take it in for service.
Great video, install time for me was surprisingly long, 5-6 hrs, lot of double checking. Some personal confusion on order of final steps, when to put top on, which side work on first, bit of uninstall to get the stops in.
Personally I'd like to install using the tie down points at the side and rear of my 4Runner, so that I can remove the drawers easily if/when i need to maximize cargo space for transporting a large item.

Very informative. Those plastic draw stoppers that had the broken bit. They look too fragile to me. They should be metal / or spring steel or something.

Great video! Occasionally I use one of my third row seats (passenger side) to carry an extra passenger and then fold it up when not in use. Do you know if that seat can still be used if I were to purchase only 1 side of the ARB drawers?
Great video! It looks like the top of the platform is the same height as the second row seats when folded down. Do you know if ARB has an additional piece that would extend the top of the platform to go over the second row seats to convert into a sleeping area?
Yup it is, I’ve camped in there a couple times just using a sleeping mat and it was fine. The gap is right where your knees are so u don’t even feel it

Thank you. I bought some drawers second hand and had no idea how to orient the drawer stoppers (the ones with the hook and roller). Saved my bacon.

Can you sleep in it? Some other drawers have a sliding bed solution to go above the 2nd row when the seat backs are down

You should only use the Toyota anti freeze (red stuff)
