Based on George R.R. Martin’s book Fire & Blood, the upcoming series House of the Dragon takes place 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones and tells the story of House Targaryen.

The Aegon at the bottom of the lineage tree isn't Jon Snow but Aegon son of Elia Nymaros Martell, wife of Rhaegar. Whom in the show he "annulled" his marriage to her so he could bang a 14 year old Lyanna Stark. In the books it's most likely that Jons name could just be Jon or something other then Aegon. They, D&D, sort of combined fAegon and Jon's storyline from the books. Hence the Jon Snow=Aegon Targaryen the True Heir to the Iron Throne.

I have no faith in LOTR Show, like.. at all. I saw the LOTR ROP trailer and felt nothing. Meanwhile I'm a big fan of Tolkien. But I see HOTD trailer and I'm super hyped.

My predicts:
Season 1: The Prelude
Season 2: The dance of dragons war is earnest
Season 3: The end phase of the war and conclusion
They’ll need more than 3 seasons or it will be way too rushed
@@theekaizer534 For season 1, my prediction has been confirmed.
Season 2: Just going through several battles would become pedantic and expensive. So they would try to pull it all together in one season.
Season 3: Even though the endgame is full of events, you wouldn't want to stretch out the final act over two seasons.
@@senatorsheev6743 damn sounds boring also to stop the war expenses and to actually have a story not just battle scenes you would need more than 3 it’s impossible for 3. Corneal cares to much for the books to make it 3 if 3 is the plan scrap the show because you’ll have a main character die every episode maybe ever 2 or 3 an episode what’s the impact you get if 1 week this person dies and the next week someone else of importance dies. That’s not game of thrones there’s no anticipation no story no development at least 4 seasons may even be 5 once the ratings come out after season 1 once they begin writing they’ll just slow down there’s so so much story during the war regardless the battle scenes are like 1 page sometimes even a paragraph or 2 that’s an hour of tv lol
@@theekaizer534 I don't know what to tell you. That is just the structure of this story. Maybe, they could lay this out like Band of Brothers to flesh out the war into more seasons. That is probably not a good example because they covered WW2 in one season.

I am so disappointed in this fan base! To discredit all the great source material and the show in itself was absolutely huge! I have watched reaction after reaction even to the so called awful last season/episodes and everyone reacted with excitement and praise in the moment. So sad to see such fair weather fans!
The end was crap. The show itself fantastic but that ending made no sense on SO MANY LEVELS
The Daenerys ending was absolutely the right thing to do. A Greek tragedy was a breath of fresh air compared to the Disney/MSU brained cookie cutter cringe that permeates all pop culture now. The fact that the show fell out of the face of the earth had more to do with HBO overestimating the influence of a vocal minority of rabid online fans and really believing the franchise is dead. But in reality the moment the first episode of HOTD aired, it had a record breaking number of viewership. The only thing that proved was that the average fan was long ready for more Thrones content.
I was very happy with the last few seasons of GOT, especially how it ended.
Except no one expected a disney ending m8. We wanted better writing not rushed crap instead we got CW level writing and dogshit dialogue filled with cockjokes and she's muh kween. Ending in its entirety was fine but extremely super rushed, The long night wasn't even long lmao.
