@ShowbizzTheAdult I used to be a proponent for same Day weigh-ins. Until I learn why they eliminated them. Mauricio suliman's brother that just passed was the person that eliminated same day weigh-ins for the WBC.
When you dehydrate your body to make weight the first place it takes water from is your brain. Without that water there's no cushion and more people were dying when they had same day weigh-ins. You can't stop people from extreme weight cutting so they figured that give them a day to rehydrate and it'll be better than what we have now.
So after thought I've changed and now I say keep the weigh ins like they are would make all championship fights have a rehydration clause. Problem solved.
