There are few key points that weren’t talked about
    1. There are 3 parties to every transfer proposal unless for a free agent. All 3 have to agree to make a deal happen. As for a free agent, either the taker has a prior consent from the free player to run down his existing contract or he mostly likely isn’t your 1st choice.
    2. Arsenal had been actively trying and tried in every summer and couple times in the winter windows to land their targets. Either the targets felt they weren’t ready, or arsenal decided against a bidding war hence way overpaying for someone or someone who has decided on certain club already.
    3. Strikers who can perform Consistently and with good outputs are few and far between and More often then not, you have to gamble on those who have a couple of good seasons in a less competitive leagues. So….

I agree with Arteta 💯 even though i am not Arsenal supporter. You just don't bring a body in the name of a striker if he won't help the team period.

IF MAN UNITED SELL GARNA , who will replace him?
No one is talking about that

The host just doesn't want to accept that Arsenal score goals as a team. He keeps insisting that they need a centre-striker, one to score goals. The one pundit even stated that Arsenal scored 91 goals last season. So far this season Arsenal are on par with the top clubs in goals scored, despite the rash of injuries. They are 2nd in the Premier League and 3rd in the Champions League, again, despite the number of injuries they've had. They dropped several points when Ødegaard was out and are struggling a bit now with Saka and Jesus out. So what it seems they really need are good, solid substitutes who can maintain the level of quality that the team has. People are fixated on the idea that they need a new centre-striker to win. Isak couldn't help Newcastle in their last match and Haaland didn't manage to drag City over the line. Those are the kind of striker everyone is asking for. But it's no guarantee for success. A well organised team is much more effective, as PSG demonstrated against City in the CL. It wan't that long ago that Arsenal let Aubameyang go and they have steadily improved year after year. He was supposed to be the premier striker. How did that work out for the club? It was a similar story for when Messi went to join Mbappé and Neymar at PSG. Everyone were absolutely sure that PSG would win everything. It's not automatic. The team is more important than any one individual player. Pointing to the number of acquisitions that Arteta has made should is meaningless and has no reflection on the standings, nor on Arsenal's goal production.

Not an Arsenal fan. Totally get where you're coming from BUT Arsenal 100% need someone central to put the ball away. That's why you haven't kicked on.

@@rogerdavies2796 I just had to put it out there. Everyone is so sure about the quick and easy fix, get a proper striker and they'll win the PL, CL and everything else. I just feel that is so overblown and simplistic. They have scored a good number of goals both last season and so far this one as well. And they have done so as a team. If they hadn't been injured so much, perhaps Arsenal would have been at the top instead of Liverpool. My point is a centre-striker may actually become a detriment as they will look to feed the ball to him instead of playing as a team. And if he were to get injured, your team now has to revert back. Since they already have scored a lot of goals, I think a centre-striker will only replace someone else's name on the scoresheet. Everyone is sure he would ADD more goals. I'm not convinced. Arsenal, with only Havertz as a centre-striker, are ahead of Newcastle and City (Isak and Haaland) How?

@@rogerdavies2796 I don't think so. This is not a video game. Having a striker doesn't guarantee you will win every game because City and Newcastle should be winning every game and should be in 1st and 2nd on the league table.

We need a forward simple as that we have 1 player out of our 4 forwards who provides a genuine goal threat and he is injured Haverts is a decent option filling in and has done a fantastic job but he is clearly feeling the pressure and is not a player that should be leading the line week in week out.
Liverpool have 6 forwards all capable of scoring goals and you see the difference in intensity between their games and ours and this will be a factor later on in the season if not addressed our players look tired and out of ideas they need help

“Have I ever said no to a striker?” This is similar to a lie by omission, given he’s avoided signing a striker like the plague in favour of players like Havertz I’d say he functionally has.

Man U did not progress much under previous few managers, I get the feelings they will regress under Ruben Amorim, he seems to be alienating players! Rashford and now Garnacho! Garnacho much like Diollo and Kobbie Mainoo are superstars in the making!

If untied land Dorgu, Garnacho will play 2nd fiddle. It makes sense to sell G. Best for everyone. He’s brilliant and needs to develop with regular first team football. But Dorgu does look the business as a left wingback and he’s young with a reasonable price tag
