Loved Izzard for years, but after I read about the pronoun preference and name change... I thought, no big deal and good for her. The quality comic and actor is still the same, it just takes some adjustment in the comments.
So pleased for Suzy. Keep that comedy coming!

And one thing that doesnt make any sense about the whole arc thing. Does anybody remember that picture of like 3 different pairs of animals ealking onto the arc but the Lions in the middle are both male lions. So if that picture is them walking onto the arc i guess "God " never had anything against gays but for some reason they always taught us that god doesnt like gays. If that were true that picture should have never been used in any chruch of any religion teaching about god
I appreciate the efforts from the sharks to live up to the Geneva convention for shark- human relations, but I don't get itwhy they and the squids and fish must go on the boat? Was it for the party? Or something wokish that everybody should be treated the same?
Can someone explain to me why Noah's Ark would need to take water creatures? That's the weirdest premise for a joke ever.
Fish are actually pretty particular about whether they're in salt or fresh water... if the seas were super rough from a god throwing them about, plus it being not the right type of water... I bet some fish would just die. ☠️
@@DonnaBump They did in their millions. In fossils all over the world. How do you get a fossil? You have a catastrophic flood and they get buried and quickly to or they get eaten or rot to nothing.

Is there a name for the thing that Suzy Eddie does where she invents a word in the middle of a bit? She seems to do it rather frequently, and it’s just become a normal part of her comedic delivery. I don’t know if it happens because she forgets the "right" word and invents a filler in the moment, or if it’s a planned part of her act. Anyone know?

Let's call it Izzardry.
You're pretty much on point. They have used different tools throughout their career to buy time(or as you said, "filler"). If you pay attn, they will often take a sharp inhale just before the filler. It's of course evolved over time, but to maintain a flow that feels more spontaneous, they dont script out a show beyond the joke/theme. This frees them up to improvise in the moment, but can make transitions less smooth as it's not all mapped out beforehand. Hence the techniques for "filler" that tie it all together 😊

You said “fish” not sharks, even though they are the one in the same, regardless, there are fresh water and salt water fish, and the vast majority of them can’t survive in anything else, so almost all the fresh water fish would have died…
That and rainwater diluting the salt water would probably also kill a good chuck of the ocean going fish, if it was enough to cover all land on earth. Tho people living in other places during that time would probably really surprised to hear that the whole world was underwater...

Surely if he was "Eddie" at the time, then labelling him "Suzy" is rewriting history? The past doesn't change just because Eddie views it differently now.
If someone changed their name, you'd refer to them by the new name, even if you were looking at a video of a time they had a different name. This is because they're currently called something new and is known as common sense.
If Gary changed their name to Barry, you'd look at a video from when they were called Gary, and you'd say "Oh look, it's Barry. Also, that happens to be from the time they were called Gary"

I'm not calling someone Suzy who is a heterosexual man in a skirt with not even a whiff of hormone replacement or intentions of fully transitioning. By he own words he changes day to day from male to female 'mode' depending on how he feels. That's fine live and let live an all that. However, unlike some comments here who are virtue signalling and insisting he is a woman / female, makes me want to scream. I used to love Eddie but since he's decided that any male, including himself who 'identifies as female' should be able to use the woman's loos and he's admitted he does this when in a skirt, I have ZERO respect for him, which is a about the same amount he's showing real biological women.
Why the heck is everyone so riled up about bathrooms? Seriously! There are zillions of bathrooms used by both sexes - who the heck cares? Izzard is the 'Comedian who had no Clothes' ... he is simply NOT FUNNY, but because he sneaks in a bit of "History" (always wrong!) a bit of French, and flaunts his (very dubious) "Trans-ness", people who thinks themselves Progressive just HAVE TO LAUGH.
His "stream of consciousness" is merely unconnected words and thought, but -- again to seem "with it" -- the same people say "Oh, HOW Anarchic! HOW ORIGINAL!
He was funny before you got your panties in a twist over "trans". Funny then, funny now.

Here's another hypothises:
Comedy is subjective. You, personally, don't happen to like this comedy. You, personally, are swept up in the current hyper-focus on trans people, whom you decided you don't like either. And boom! You have found a correlation between two concepts you don't like.
Then, even though Izzard has been popular for decades, and most people who appreciate Izzard's humour have not given a toss about their gender, you have decided that anyone who likes this type of humour has been brainwashed to support trans people. Which is ironic, because your hyper-focus on, and judgement of trans people is entirely shaped by current propaganda - as your false correlation and assumptions demonstrate.

LOL, Izzard's been doing Noah's ark since at least the 1990s. Cosby was doing Noah's Ark in the 1960s. And given how ludicrous the premise is, I'm sure comics were making hay with it for a good three thousand years before that. I assure you, Gervais didn't "beat anyone to it" with a Noah's Ark sketch.
